BAD SERVICE.... ROBBED OF MY MONEY!!!
I booked for weekend away for my Mom’s birthday and it was confirmed weeks before, a week prior to the date I called just to ensure that all is still well, I was told that the weekend is fully booked and they can not accommodate me... 1. I paid full amount 2. I booked a month before No one bothered to contact me and let me know, had I not phoned to confirm, I would have gone there on a Saturday morning only to be sent back home!! Well, they offered me a place around PTA East, the place was R800 cheaper than the original place, far from Cullinan, ended up spending only 1night. Didn’t feel like I was out, it’s only 23km from my house... LINDA , the lady I constantly communicated with, indicated that they will refund me the extra money I paid. Since Oct, Iv been sending her emails, calling her, and all she made were excuses to refund me. If it’s not the system it’s the finance lady, if not that it’s some staff member faking her dad’s death... those are excuses I got. To this day I have not been refunded my R800 and she has since decided to stop communicating with me... She does not answer my emails, refused to take my matter higher, not answering my calls and won’t give me the contact details of her superiors...

Most terreble game lodge ive ever been to. from 5th November- 6th November 2016
<p>Firstly, my fiance and i had to drive on an 8km gravel road (extremly bumpy). There are no signs indicating where the lodge is , we almost turned back as we thought that we were driving into some death trap until luckily enough a guest that had had been lodging there confirmed that the lodge is infact about 4km ahead of us.</p> <p> </p> <p>Sencondly, We were told that there were no over night available rooms but my fiance asked to speak to the owner of the lodge, we were reffered to and old short like kind lady that made a plan for us to get a room, the room was not properly cleaned with stained bedding.</p> <p> </p> <p>Thirdly, We were lied to on the game drive and told that the lodge had Leopards and baboons, we asked the rest of the staff if therewas such and they confirmed that the lodge only had the 4 animals we saw on the drive, The drive itself was horrible as the seats of that game ranger truck are torn and so uncomfortable to sit on. We were told that we would have a picnic with the game drive packege, instead we stoped and an isolated place with no trees and had to eat they stale fingerfoods that seems to have only been made for vegiterians, the fingerfoods tasted as if it had been kept in storage for over 2weeks.</p> <p> </p> <p>Fourthly the bar bar sellls the word "we dont have" or 'we only have one left", </p> <p> </p> <p>Lastly, im disappointed the the lodge is unable to control their guests, there was a huge roudy crowd by the pool area, we didnt even get the chance to swim, the water was green in color.</p> <p> </p> <p>i am very unhappy about the experiene at this lodge, although the braai meat provided to us was enough and fresh, and the receptionist was super kind and helpful.</p>

Overpriced Overpromised Underdelivered
<p>I (as many others have) have purchased a voucher from Daddy's Deals (I believe Groupon has the same voucher) for a game drive and picnic for two, I think it would be their best interest to do quality checks on the deals featured.</p> <p>Madidaba Game Reserve is by no means anything more than an overpriced excruciating Sunday drive.</p> <p>My hour in the Historical Cullinan Town was far more worth the drive from Johannesburg than spending the afternoon at Madidaba.</p> <p>To say that it was a disappointment is an understatement.</p> <p>There were only a handful bucks and 5 zebras - no other game.</p> <p>The picnic was the biggest disappointment of all. The advert leads you to believe that it is a picnic for 2 with cheeses and assorted meats (a light lunch even). But instead they offered 2 measly 1 day old Pick 'n Pay platters to be shared amongst 10 adults at a run down under construction cabin.</p> <p>There is no redeeming quality at Madidaba and I would definitely not recommend this lodge to anyone.</p> <p>Sincerely, <br />Monique</p>
