Disappointing service

We wanted to celebrate my friends birthday at Magnolia on Saturday (07/09/2019). I had to make our booking twice as it wasn't made the first time (I found out when I phoned to confirm) and asked both times for them to do something special as it is for a birthday brunch.

When we got to the restaurant I asked the waiter what they were planning on doing in celebration of my friends birthday and I got the irritable response "like wat?".

It was clear to me that I was a nuisance to them eventhough the restaurant was quite.

This was very disappointing. I will not make use of this establishment for future functions or celebrations.
