Fantastic Hotel in stunning location!
Fantastic experience at the Malagas Hotel. The location is blissful, situated right along the river. Great service and the food is fantastic! Highly recommend for a western cape getaway.

MALAGAS HOTEL - STAY AWAY , OR ARRIVE IN AN ORANGE OVERALL
TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE - WITH NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY FROM MANAGEMENT ADVISED THEM THAT MY WIFE HAD A FOOT OPERATION AND HAS BEEN STARING AT THE CEILING FOR 6 WEEKS - NEEDED A PLACE WHERE WE COULD ENJOY OUR ANNAVERSARY AND ENJOY A SCENIC OUTLOOK FROM THE ROOM....ALL OF THIS WAS PROMISED WHEN WE ARRIVED E WERE INTRODUCED TO A 2X4 ROOM WITH ABSOLUTELY NO VIEW !!!! ... A REAL ****HOLE IN THE SNOW ON REJECTING THE ROOM AS BEING A FALSE REPRESENTATION, I WAS FLUSHED THE CANCELATION POLICY ... SO MUCH FOR CARING FOR A CUSTOMER TO DATE NO CALL FROM SENIOR MANAGEMENT THEY TOOK R3750 FOR THIS ****HOLE ... Decent but too many rules
Decent food, however this hotel has too many archaic rules that make you feel as if you are at boarding school. No warm and fuzzies if you arrive early, no warm welcomes. Food times are inflexible and you are made well aware of this. Chill out and understand your sector!!!

Service not delivered as promised telephonically
We had a booking made at Malagas Hotel by our holiday agent for 7 to 9 Aug. I was unsure of what was on offer from the hotel and I phoned The Malagas Hotel a few days before the weekend to enquire what was included in our booking. I spoke to the lady at reception and I asked her in what type of room we were booked and I also asked her what was included in booking this room. I also informed her that the booking was not done by us but that it was done through our holiday agent. She checked her records and told me that we were booked into a \Superior Room"and that supper"
