10 minutes after paying the deposit on the 17th of June, I tried contacting someone at reservations to assist me to cancel the booking, but no one answered. After I made the reservation based on Google search telling me Maliba Lodge is 19 miles (+- 30km) away from Afriski, I saw that this is in fact not true as it is a 2 hours drive away from Afriski and unfortunately we can not drive 2 hours every day to get to Afriski.
I have been desperately trying to get a hold of someone to assist me in cancelling the reservation that was made in error based on wrong information from Google.
I sent am email confirming all the above to reservations and they apparently sent it to their Finance Dept the same day. I have had no reply or refund to date.
It has been a month now and we have had to cancel our holiday due to the refund not being refunded in time to make another booking closer to the venue.
