Placed an online order last Wednesday for a birthday present needed this past weekend. Delivery on the web said Friday, but it was Easter. Phoned their customer support Saturday to find out about the delivery date. They said it will be Tuesday due to Easter holidays. Phoned this morning and the agent said she will escalate the delivery to their Marketplace team. Phone them again this afternoon at 3pm as no follow up call or delivery was received and all of a sudden the agent says it will only be delivered this coming Friday. The agent also got very arrogant on the call which was not assisting in resolving the issue - he literally took the angle that this is the standard delivery time and suggesting I accept and deal with it. Where in SA does it take 10 days to delivery to Centurion, Pretoria!?!?! Extremely disappointed with the order, delivery and customer service.
10 minutes after paying the deposit on the 17th of June, I tried contacting someone at reservations to assist me to cancel the booking, but no one answered. After I made the reservation based on Google search telling me Maliba Lodge is 19 miles (+- 30km) away from Afriski, I saw that this is in fact not true as it is a 2 hours drive away from Afriski and unfortunately we can not drive 2 hours every day to get to Afriski. I have been desperately trying to get a hold of someone to assist me in cancelling the reservation that was made in error based on wrong information from Google. I sent am email confirming all the above to reservations and they apparently sent it to their Finance Dept the same day. I have had no reply or refund to date. It has been a month now and we have had to cancel our holiday due to the refund not being refunded in time to make another booking closer to the venue.
