Poor Customer Service Experience at Shoprite Mall of the South On May 1, 2025, at 14:57, I visited Shoprite at Mall of the South (Store G248, Reg 015, Txn 291). As a regular customer, I was disappointed with the service I received. The Issue I purchased a Box Doll 30Cm, paid for it, and left the store. However, I forgot the doll on the counter, and the cashier didn't notice. When I realized my mistake at home (20km away), I had to return to the store. The Service When I spoke to the manager, I was met with unfriendly service. Despite explaining the inconvenience, she seemed unconcerned and even laughed in front of other customers. When I asked for reimbur*****t for my petrol costs, she refused, saying it's not their policy. My Concerns - Lack of attention to detail by the cashier -Security did not pay attention when she was checking my slip - Unfriendly and unempathetic service from the manager - Refusal to understand my situation or offer assistance Expectation I hope Shoprite will take steps to improve customer service and staff training to prevent similar experiences in the future.
