We booked this place in October, upon arriving and checking in our room we later discovered that there was a MAJOR SAFETY issue, there was electric short of some sort when taking a shower, we reported this immediately bare in mind we had two old people over 80yrs and a pregnant woman, manager never did anything nor came to our unit although we complained several times that night. Next morning they gave us a key to another unit, same issue, so we deciding to leave, it is now nearly 4 months I have not received my refund, Mangwa Valley Resort is giving me the run around, I have exhausted all avenues of trying to resolve this amicably, Igot the number for Neil from Webbiz, he assured me that I will receive my refund, the guy said to me he will do the payment, never did, the manager of Mangwa Valley is shockingly unprofessional, it is besides me has to how he manages the place, lacks customer service actually he lacks everything - MANGWA VALLEY I WANT MY MONEY THAT IS IT

******* artists, we booked into the Spa for a treat over the Easter weekend and paid up front. We arrived timeously for our 12 o-clock booking only to be told told that the last people had arrived late and our start would be delayed. A simple phone call in this day and age would have enabled us to arrive later and continue with our game drive. However we were told to come back in an hour. When we got back Yvonne at reception sent us down to the Spa - on arrival, people were still busy with their treatments and one of the spa ladies came out and told us it would be at least another half an hour. This would mean that our lunch booking would fall away as we had booked elswhere for lunch. When we went back to reception and explained the situation to Yvonne, she told us that we would be refunded our payment of R2600-00 on Tuesday - which has not been forthcoming. In hindsight no well managed facility would have accepted late arrivals at the expense of scheduled customers and even if the previous booking had arrived an hour later , how do we get pushed out an hour and forty minutes. The only feasible answer is double book, grab as much money as you can and don’t refund inconvenienced customers. This seems to tie up with the numerous other complaints about lack of refunds. ******* artists -avoid

We had our weekend visit at Mangwa and received the best treatment from their friendly staff... Everything was very neat. The food was also very great!

These people still owe me money for the refund deposit I paid. This is highly unethical business conduct especially that I canceled six weeks before I arrive. Proxy is covering up for his bossws refusing to give me contact of a person who is suppose to process the payment. One excuse after another its now February. I wawited for this refund since December

I booked my dates with them which were the 16, 17 and 18 check out on the 19th. It was a large group booking but due to unforeseen circumstances I canceled the booking on the 4th November, which was six weeks before my arrival. Now Iam asking for a refund of R25 000 that I had paid already its a pain I have been waiting since with no indication until now. The manager told me the payment was going to be done on the week 12th-16th which was last week. This week I asked the manager to give me the number of a person who is suppose to do this transfer he tells me they are not around he will give me when they come back and this is after he told me that he has been trying to reach them to remind them or ask them but they are not responding to his texts. Is this how they treat customers and run their business through scamming the guests. Iam eligible for a 100% refund since I canceled 1 month 2 weeks before the arrival. If you book your holiday with these be careful and not be sorry like Iam now running after them day after day for whats due by me and Iam being given an axcuse after another whenever I ask for my refund.

I made a booking in November 2020. Then had to cancel a few days later because our hockey tournament changed venues to a town 2 hours away. I paid a deposit of R2800 and Proxy assured me over and over again that it will be paid back to me. On 15/10/20201 he said that the person making the payment definitely done it. Most of the times my messages and emails don't get answered, although I can see that is been read and that is why I start phoning 2 weekly. I asked for the managers and person that is suppose to do the refund numerous times but there is always a problem why they can't give it to me. I AM NOW FEDUP!!!
