No Refund on Deposit

I made a booking in November 2020. Then had to cancel a few days later because our hockey tournament changed venues to a town 2 hours away. I paid a deposit of R2800 and Proxy assured me over and over again that it will be paid back to me. Since November 2020 I have made numerous calls send emails and whatsapp messages but to date no pay back. On 12/10/2021 he said that the payment was loaded ... nothing. On 15/10/20201 he said that the person making the payment definitely done it. Most of the times my messages and emails don't get answered, although I can see that is been read and that is why I start phoning 2 weekly. I asked for the managers and person that is suppose to do the refund numerous times but there is always a problem why they can't give it to me. I AM NOW FEDUP!!!
