Mapogo Randfontein delays in armed response

We have been noble customers from this service for +/- 9 years. We are not those citizens that press Panic buttons every week for reasons what so ever therefore do we believe that when we initiate a panic that the response must be rapid and effective. We recently had yet another scenario where we needed armed response very urgent. The thugs had already gained entry to my neighbors property when I commanded the first Panic. With time ticking did I press yet another panic and still no call from the control room nothing. I then decided to take matters in my own hands. I ran towards my neighbors house when I was met with two thugs as they jumped over the wall towards me. the one charged me with what looked like a iron or *****driver and its then where I pulled my Firearm. he immediately turned around and took refuge in the property he just came out off. With all this noise did my other neighbor intervened and also pressed a panic. The control room phoned and she expressed the severity that we need response NOW. With all this time waisted did the thugs jumped the back wall and came off scot free. 18 Minutes later did armed response arrive and by this time did my blood boil at levels far beyond all imagination. The reaction officers stated that they just received the call from their control room which leaves us somewhat confused for combined did us 3 house holds pressed easily 8 panics. The issue I have is NOT the reaction officers but solely the control room. They don't understand that every second counts. I contacted their manager and he promised to investigate and get back to me but its now Monday and I phoned him the past Friday but with no response too. I have a similar scenario a few years before this one where we also needed immediate assistance. The thugs had all the time in the world to get away. I have just cancelled their service as I can't comprehend the thought of paying some armed rapid response and hopefully see an officer 15 minutes later. I also just settled all outstanding amounts and have requested that the radio needs to be removed for I am done with this. I would rather use my previous monthly contributions towards something more valuable.
