Mariners Wharf racist manager

We had family and friends from Durban who we wanted to spoil as they do have good seafood in Durban and having been to this restaurant quite a few times and usually having good food and service, I am quite disgusted by the terribly racist experience I had yesterday.

We were told to wait for a table after already making a reservation, and then be put at two separate tables because of social distancing s they claimed. However, at another 1 or 2 long tables with about 10-15 white patrons who were sitting so close together they could smell each other’s breath... there was no social distances whatsoever.

In this day and age to still have managers of restaurants who give preference to white people when our money’s value is all the same!!!

Our bill came to R2650 so I don’t see how we are any different from others and what a way to welcome tourists to Cape Town!!!!!
