Anneize Heyns from Parow Cape Town is the most amazing person. 15 minutes after my Mum's passing she was in contact with me. Her ogranising skills for the funeral made the funeral such a wonderful tribute to my Mum. Her exceptional service did not end there, she continue to assist me in getting all the information lodged with the Master of the Court.

Funeral home with a heart Dezi from Martin's Funeral home in Brackenfell helped the family through such a sad time with so much compassion God bless her. Everything was arranged so professionally and smoothly. Recommended this funeral home to family and many friends.Their prices are affordable especially for people without a funeral policy like myself 🙏

Roodepoort branch Firstly, we chose Martins as they have a Rivonia branch listed. We arranged to meet with them (at their request) as they had already collected the body. We arrived for the meeting, only to discover Rivonia branch is non-existent. We then had to drive to Roodepoort and we arrived an hour late. My family’s wishes were for a cremation and I selected a casket. After leaving Martins, one of their staff called me to say the casket was too small for the body and I had to select something bigger. My family member passed away with pancreatic cancer and she could not more than 60kgs when she passed away. When I insisted on a casket, I was told that Martins could not be held responsible if the casket broke open in the church and the body landed up on the floor. We landed up buying an R18 000 coffin for a cremation. I then asked Martins to let us know the date and time of cremation so we could ensure that the coffin was cremated with the body. This did not happen…. They called me after the cremation to collect the ashes. This funeral home is disgusting beyond words.

What an amazing company. We recently lost our dad and was assisted by Martin's funerals, what a incredible experience we experience with the arrangements. We had the best team assist us with everything pre and post funeral. I have never experience such wonderful service before. This is a company who truly cares about the deceased and the family. We had no issues at all and I would highly recommend this company to everyone.

Hallo Peter On the evening 18/08 we sadly lost our dad due to a heart attack. We had a terrible experience with Martins funerals in Table Veiw. The came to the house get my dad and took all necessary docks(ID,911 and Police report) with them. On the 20/08 we went to them to start with the funeral arrangements. We were met by Coleen who is the most rude, cold, insensitive and jugemental person. Firstly we were told that we can't do anything without a death certificate(wich I understand) When I asked why it a problem to get a death certificate, I was told " It's not my fault your father neglected his health. Your father should have seen a dockter 90 days before his passing " My dad was a healthy man. She didn't know my dad to say things like that! When I started crying out of anger, I was laughed at with a comment from her " AG shampies" Then after an argument she suddenly had a medical friend that could sign the death certificate. 3 days later the certificate was signed. However we only got it the end of the following week. When my mom desputed the quote apon paymet(Coleen added flowers to the quote that we did not want ad we had got someone els to do it) she was rude, told my mom to just pay the balance without the flowers. When I went to see her about the arrangements, she also asked personal questions like " what funeral cover does your dad have and with whom" I told her that he has a policy with Metropolitan. She then asked me for the policy details so that she can do the claim as she has good contacts at Metropolitan. And yes I did refused her the info. One everything was paid for, we had to follow up daily to find out when the cremation will happen. And at no surprise we got excuse apon excuse. " all cremation in Cape Town has been stopped due to polusion" My dads cremation was done on the 12/09 three weeks later. We had to phone Martins daily for an update. No updates from them at all. I hope that all people in Cape Town does not have to go through what we had to go through. No one has to see a love one off like this. The passing of a love one is sad enough to go through.
