Paving Masters Shoddy Workmanship
I hired Paving Masters (Patric Sabau) from an ad on Gumtree, to pave my driveway. I accepted his quote and he did the job on 19 August 2020. It is the worst workmanship i've seen. The paving is very uneven, forms a huge hollow against the building, which causes water to dam against house wall. The lines are very uneven and the quality of the pavers are poor as they break and peel. The gaps are not grouted and some gaps are very wide. No base or sub-base was used and area not compacted after laying of pavers. I contacted them after the job and although they promised to return, they never pitched. I am now forced to hire another vontractor to fix there shoddy job. People I contacted are Patric Sabau - 0727419433 and Trevor Majino - 0712553173

Still have not fixed their mess
So a couple of months after trying to resolve this matter in a civilized way they still have not come to sort out the issues raised with them. And they try to bargain that they would only come and fix the issues once the reviews are removed.

Master Paving Pretoria
HTMS TRADING AND PROJECTS PTY LTD T/A MASTER PAVING SAND AND STONE PRETORIA This company has many names. Also Johannesburg Paving; Master Paving Sand and Stone; Marius Construction; Master Group of Companies This company paved 230m2 driveway for us in April 2018. By August the side had slipped and there were big gaps and loose paving. I phoned numerous times. They were difficult to get hold of and even more difficult to pin down. They finally gave me a date in November when they would come and fix their work. Nobody arrived. Again much phoning and emailing from me. The following day they told me their truck had broken down on route. I continued phoning regularly in 2019. The most I would ever get was: "I will phone you back". It is now June 2019 - 11 months since I first notified them of the poor workmanship and claimed their guarantee. Today they tell me that they have restructured. They no longer do paving. They will not give me the number or name of the "new" company that they claim is now responsible to fix my driveway. They were evasive about the new structure and names of the new company/companies. Their original registration number is: 2014/091511/07

Stay Away from master paving and Sand in Pretoria
Please Stay away from this company, if you intend on having quality work done and getting value for money. They verbally assault you as a customer after a 3-4 month battle they have been ignoring us and missing appointments and also rocking up whenever it suites them.

Stay Away from master paving and Sand in Pretoria

Stay away!
Funny how the first thing Corrie told me is: "Beware of other companies that want to take your deposit and not do the work" This is one of that companies! Stay away as far as possible. After they failed to come out 4 times after we make arrangements to hae someone at home to lock up, we opt for a refund. After numerous phonecalls mails etc, we still dont have a refund eventhough it was promised. It is now 5 months later and we are still struggeling. Rather just stay away and safe yourselve the trouble.

Caution
Great Sales Rep and kept to his word ,Job was done ahead of scheduled time . Disappointed with the office team for not providing a tax invoice and warranty for 2 weeks still awaiting .Rubble removal ,another company had to remove this for me as this was promised daily with no response. Make final payment after removal of rubble !
