Estate Agent Yesh Gunpath from Maritzburg Properties Pietermaritzburg purchsed a property from me in November 2016. We signed and confirmed the Sale Agreement on the 9th November 2016. Being a new home seller I did not know how the process worked but since the Estate Agent Yesh Gunpath was well known and respected as an experienced Estate Agent he reassured me that everything would go through by the end of February 2017 and I said that I will have my tenants out before then. Yesh told me to be patient because everyone is generally on a go slow during December because it is the holiday season. On the 6th December 2016, I received an email from Narisha Singh who is the Conveyencer for Mastross Inc. Pmb saying that Yesh's bond has been approved but she is waiting for the deposit to be paid by Yesh. Throughout December 2016 I sent Yesh messages asking about the deposit but he did not respond. On the 9th January 2017 I contacted Narisha asking her about the pgress and she said that Yesh the Estate Agent was trying to raise the deposit but only had half and he was trying to sell his car to raise the balance of the deposit. I then told Narisha that if Yesh does not pay the withing a the next week I will cancel the sale. Narisha then phone me the next week saying that the despoit has been paid. Upon my inquiry on the 31st January 2017, Narisha confirmed that she is waiting for the rates assessment from the Municipality which according to het takes up to 4 weeks. then told On the 7th February 2017 my tenants vacated the property, I went to the Municipality and they said that the rates as*****t takes up to two weeks from the date of application. I told Narisha that I am going to lodge a complaint or cancel the sale. She said that I am welcome to do both. Today the 20th of March 2017, 4 months later I contacted Narisha again and she said that she will send Mastross's messenger to uplift the rates as*****t, thereafter they will pay the rates, then they will wait for the rates clearance certificate, thereafter the transfer will be lodged by Mastross in the Deeds Office and the Deeds Office takes between 8 to 10 working days to register a transfer, if there are no queries. So this entire ordeal is going to into month 5 now. Anyone using this company please be careful as this is my experience and I do not want to be victimised any further by Mastross Inc Pmb. Maritzburg Property uses Mastross as their Conveycing Attorneys so they need to decide how they will handle it. Unfortunately in my case it is still not resolved.

Hellopeter.com contacted me this morning, Friday 02nd June 2017 to inform me that Mastross has deemed my complaint / review on Hellopeter.com as “Inappropriate” and Hellopeter.com asked me to confirm by return email with 24 hours whether all the content in my complaint / review is indeed then true and correct and that I must provide my proof of dealings with Mastorss confirming my complaint / review which would ensure that the complaint remained on the Hellopeter.com website. I then confirmed and proved to Hellopeter.com that my review is in actual fact true and correct therefore the complaint / review remained on their website. About two hours later, Mastross Inc. got the Estate Agent, Yesh Gunpath (the estate agent who purchased my property) to phone me (earlier today 02nd June 2017) to tell me that I must phone Narisha Singh from Mastross to urgently to set up an appointment to meet with Mastross. Yesh said that Mastross told him to tell me that my wife and I must set up an appointment urgently and that we must come from our home in Durban to their offices in Pietermaritzburg at my own cost otherwise they are threatening to take legal action against me if I do not remove my Hellopeter.com complaint. I then asked the Estate Agent (Yesh Gunpath) who phoned me why he is phoning me on Mastross’s behalf and why didn’t Mastross contact me directly? Yesh said, that is exactly what he thought and he is not sure but he is being implicated by Mastross aswell because he delayed in paying the deposit. Yesh said that Mastross wanted to take legal action against him for paying the deposit late and that they want to take action against me for putting the complaint on Hellopeter.com. I asked him why is Mastross not taking action against their employee Narisha Singh for her poor work performance and he said he thinks Mastross is only taking action against the both of us.
I told Yesh that Mastross continued with the entire sale until it was concluded but said nothing until today 02nd June 2017 (73 days later)? Narisha Singh’s last email sent to me on the 17th May 2017 made no mention of the Hellopeter.com complaint. I even met Narisha Singh at her offices on the 31st May 2017 and still no mention of the complaint? Mastross waited from the 20th March 2017 until today, Friday 02nd June 2017 to respond to my Hellopeter complaint (73 days later)? My Hellopeter complaint was even emailed to Mastross on the 20th March 2017 and they emailed me continuously thereafter throughout the entire process of the sale until it was concluded but said nothing. Mastross is this what you do to your clients if they lay a complaint against you??? You want to use your legal advantage to bully your clients if they speak the truth about your employees incompetence??? Why are you charging the Estate Agent?
