McCarrthy renegues on cover of towing if car breaks down after normal working hours

Club McCarthy says that I must pay for the second tow of my car today when it is just the continuation of the same incident. The car broke down yesterday evening and could not be take the garage because it was after hours. So instead of going to a storage place, the car was stored in the property where I leave, 500 meters away from where it broke down. So the car did not cost McCarthy anything for overnight storage. The least they should do is to provide the two to the garage today.

They also ignored my specific instruction not to send a flat bed truck because the car was in the parking area of a shopping centre and sent the flat bed. The driver of the flat bed had to call for assistance of another recovery vehicle - for which I now have to pay.

So I am paying twice for one incident because McCarthy ignored that a small two truck was needed and because they claim that there cannot be two free tows for the same incident.

The operator that took my call today understood the situation, but her escalation to management failed .

This after years of being a member!

So, if your car breaks down after working hours, you are not covered!!!!
