Very disappointed in Yamaha Lydenburg

I purchased an off-road motorcycle through this company a few years ago. I did my financing through Standard Bank. I was told that I will not have to do yearly licencing on the vehicle. Today I went to do a change of ownership and was I informed that I have to pay outstanding fees for the licencing not being taken out yearly on the motor vehicle.

I am severely disappointing as this is a big amount that I had to pay and that all because I was not given any documentation by the company to enable myself to ensure to the renewing of the licencing of the vehicle.

I would like to know who is responsible for this as I have not refused to pay any fees and now, this at a time which I can least afford to spend that amount of money.
