CANNOT TRUST!!!!
JP, MCJ SOLUTIONS / AMG MAINTENANCE just takes money. My wife requested motorized garage doors to be installed by JP. He was quick to accept money and would start the Monday morning. He never pitched, around 11 AM when we called. He said that he had some problem with the supplier and will come the Tuesday morning, it is around this time he started saying stuff like “I swear I am not ****mer” out of the blue. Tuesday he was he did not answer his phone for a long time, eventually he left a message that said his phone was on charge and he was taking a bath (+-10:00 in the morning) and said he will come Wednesday. Wednesday @ 09:30 he asked if he could come the Friday because his sister is now having a baby, and that he must install 2 aircons at a primary school close to me anyway, followed by “I swear I am not ****mer”. I called the school as I am very fami**** with this school and the school knows me… The reply was that there was no aircon installation or repair to be done and that they do not know this person or this company. I called my bank to query the payment I made, the bank reply was that the money that came in to MCJ’s account was immediately transferred to another bank (Must go and check my messages, think it was M Bank). I asked the bank to block this account. It was not long when this guy was crying saying that he cannot come and do the job now because there is diesel money in the account. (So, all you need to do is go to the bank and verify your information, ID. Not that difficult). After this there was a lot of back and forth. He promises he is coming. Then when the day is almost past, he would have some excuses. No diesel or, bakkie broken. Yet he will reply stuff like “sorry I had to do an emergency job in Durban” (without a bakkie or diesel, traveling from Pretoria to Durban now). Then there will messages like he has lots of jobs to do in my area and he even have family nearby, so when I ask who his family is or, where will these other jobs take place, he disappears from the face of the earth. So, we decided to go to small claims court. We got a court letter and asked if we should send it the address, he put on the quote he said yes. So, we send the letter couple of times, and it is being ignored. One day I took the letter to the address myself. When I arrived there, I was greeted by his aunt. Grandma sitting on the stoep. She asked how she can help me; I showed her the court letter. She got angry and said that she is so tired of Jp giving this address as they do not know where he stays, probably with his girlfriend in “Springs” they said (BS Story), he does stay far from there. Then she went on about how the bank also visits as they are looking for his bakkies (Plural, bakkies). When uncle saw aunt angry, he came closer asked what is wrong? I have waited entire weeks that has led to months for you to show up, to just fix one small pipe and service the aircon you installed, only to be met with last-minute excuses — time and again. This is not the standard of professionalism that paying customers expect or deserve. 0/5 rating on service as there aren't any. The Facebook page is https://www.facebook.com/mcj.solutions. When I wrote this review regarding their poor service. They blocked me. Hopefully this review will help others avoid this situation.

Eventually the court date arrives, and we sit in court, and they said to wait few more minutes for JP to arrive. After 15 minutes not pitching, we continued. After we finished, just as we walk out of court. Suddenly he messages my wife (always want to talk to woman and not men) via whatsapp asking how it went. So, he said he will now pay R**** back a month and that we do not send the court letter. Awe agreed to that, another year passed, and nothing was paid. This is now passed 2 years where he cannot unlock his locked account, cannot pay back, cannot install, just lies.

Updated Review: Gate Weaving
After writing my original review about MCJ Solutions on Saturday, 30 November, the owner of the business contacted me and promised to complete the project. He kept his word and they've completed the project this afternoon. The work was well done. It was a struggle at first, but they've proven to have to capabilities and once committed they will follow through. He has promised me to better his communication skills and time management when accepting and committing to future projects and clients. I'm writing this review in good faith and also because I've promised JP Viljoen to do so after he has completed the project and I'm completely satisfied with his work, which I am. I trust that in future time his clients will have a positive experience from the start.

Updated Review: Gate Weaving
After writing my original review about MCJ Solutions on Saturday, 30 November, the owner of the business contacted me and promised to complete the project. He kept his word and they've completed the project this afternoon. The work was well done. It was a struggle at first, but they've proven to have to capabilities and once committed they will follow through. MCJ Solutions - Jeanpierre (JP) Viljoen
Jeanpierre Viljoen from MCJ Solutions is quick to accept a project in order to get the money. In my case it was gate weaving and the painting thereof. It wasn't a major project and the payment was upfront. After being paid he quickly committed to a date for it to be done in the coming week. After making arrangements for them to come he didn't pitch. I struggled to get hold of him, but when I finally did he was apparently stuck at a site in Jhb and he committed to come the next day. After another strugge to get hold of him, he finally dropped one of his workers at my house at about 1pm. The worker was done with the weaving by 14:30. He sat at my house until 5pm before Jeanpierre Viljoen came to fetch him. This was after several failed attempts to get hold of him. When he finally arrived, he told me that it was too late to start with the painting but that he would come the next morning. I've waited the whole Saturday at home in the hope that he would arrive. I've tried phoning and messaged him several times. He blue ticked me, but never responded. It is clear that he wasn't planning on finishing the job he was already paid to do. His lack of commitment and communication is a big concern. He however advertise his services on every possible Facebook community group in both Pretoria and JHB on a regular basis. Please be careful of doing any business with JP Viljoen and MCJ Solutions. If you do, don't even pay him a deposit until all the work is done, no matter how big or small the project might be. He cannot be trusted, not even to communicate with you if he cannot make it or commit to the job on the day agreed on. He does not commit to his clients and his own arrangements made.

Lies & Excuses.
I called this person to install motorized garage doors, this guy never showed. This is not a company or a handy man, he just takes money and that is it. When asked when will he arrive to do the job he was paid a lot of money to do. He has a million different excuses and lies. he owes me a lot of money and he makes promises after promises. It is close to 2 years now and he is still did not pay me back or do any work. There is a lot more to this story, but that is all I will say for now. Sad Hello peter does not have a -10 star option.
