Extremely Disappointing Service
I am very disappointed with the service from MDS Colliery regarding a parcel that was supposed to be delivered from Axxess yesterday.
Yesterday the parcel was not delivered as expected. Instead, I received a call from a lady asking if the driver had contacted me, which he had not. During that call she confirmed that the parcel would definitely be delivered today. She also confirmed my address with me, and I even provided the nearest landmark to make it easier for the driver.
Today I called to check on the delivery. The first consultant I spoke to told me they only service my area on Fridays. This made no sense because I was clearly told yesterday that the parcel would be delivered today. I was then transferred to a second consultant who claimed that my address is near Namibia, which is completely incorrect. The closest country to my location is Mozambique, not Namibia. Despite explaining this, I was simply told the parcel will now be delivered on Friday.
What is most frustrating is that the consultants completely dismissed what their colleague told me yesterday. There seems to be a serious lack of communication within the company, and the information given to customers is inconsistent and unreliable.
This level of poor service, confusion, and lack of accountability is extremely disappointing. I expected much better professionalism and coordination.

After reviewing the matter, we found that the delivery booking received from Axxess reflected the location as Tzaneen. If the delivery address had been within the Tzaneen had been within the Tzaneen service area, the parcel could have been delivered on Monday as mentioned by the first consultant you spoke to.
However, your location falls outside of the Tzaneen route and is part of an area that is serviced only on Fridays. Once the correct location was confirmed, the parcel was then scheduled for delivery on the next available route, which is serviced on Fridays.
We understand how the conflicting information may have been frustrating, and we apologise for any inconvenience caused while the correct delivery area was being clarified.
Your parcel is currently scheduled for delivery on Friday when the area is serviced. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

10 Mar 2026, 14:37What you are saying doesn't make sense at all because my delivery address is in Tzaneen. The address that Axxess gave is correct. You need to stop lying. The tracking details that not even reflect that the parcel was out for delivery yesterday as per the call I got yesterday. If you say my address is not in Tzaneen, kindly advice where will you be delivering at on Friday

If you would prefer your parcel to be delivered to a different address in Tzaneen, please let us know via email so that we may be able to update the delivery details on our side.
