Worst laptop ever
We bought a new mecer laptop in March 2025, serial no ***00424. After a couple of weeks, the laptop stops working. I took it back to computer mania, they booked it in for repairs, we waited almost three months for the laptop to be repaired etc. The laptop worked only for a couple of months again, before it does the same problem again, it's now another three months without a laptop.

Mecer Move YA13Q50-LTE BELOW AVERAGE LAPTOP, CONTAINING TOOO MANY PROBLEMS!!!!! Lwandile G, I couldnt agree more with Lwandile G's post. How did this machine get on the market ? I even removed Windows and tried a few different Linux distro's to see if it can help with the no responding maybe....... Nope's this is 100% *******, no operating system can perform on this hardware correctly. Very upset, I feel ****med. Casper Labuschagne.

Everytime I use the laptop it says my laptop has ran into a problem and needs to restart. I'll be in the middle of an assignment or work then it will just restart. The model type is Mecer 13.3 inch 2-in-1 Move light N4120 4GB RAM 128GB I bought this on the 25th of August

Avoid at all costs
I wish I had come here first. If you are considering buying a Mecer device, I didn't come here looking for supplier feedback, only to warn others that their current 1.39 HelloPeter rating is there for good reason. Not only are their devices sub standard (my laptop packed up after 5 months), but their post sales support is so appalling that you will be left wishing you never encountered Mustek in your life time. They will do anything to dodge accountability and honoring warranties, from blaming the user for not being able to turn a laptop on, to generating "tech reports" that "prove" that a device that does not even switch on, is considered to be in working order. There is far superior tech available in a similar price range from other suppliers.
