MEG Interiors
<p>Like so many other people, I fell for the well designed website of MEG Interiors. You will find the business through google addwords where they advertise the business. The site looks professional with designs by the company. After research I realized that none of the pictures on the site were of their design. </p> <p>She succeeds in convincing you that she has your inrerest at heart and that she is honest. I also fell for it, but after paying her the R150 000 desposit that she requested, I almost never saw her again. The little work that she did was horrific. At the end of the day she left my place unfinished and without paying me back the money that was not wasted by her. </p> <p>It is shocking that she still operates. She is extremely dishonest and thick skinned. </p>

MEG interior's disappeared with our money
I hired MEG interior's last June 2015 for interior services for our new home. Elaine came representing the company and demonstrated commitment from day one. She was able to deliver schematic diagrams and good concept ideas. Unfortunately the earlier commitment was part of a scheme to steal our money. She never was able to produce a design and the pool service providers ( Bakgat pools) she provided were part of the scheme as well. The interior pool had to be built and thus they requested for deposit which was paid including her design fees totalling R100,240. After these payments we started getting excuses after excuses of why the work was not being done. Then she stopped picking up our calls till today she is missing in action. We have taken legal action against her. Elaine, MEG interior's and Bakgat pools are outright crooks beware!!!

Yet another victim of Elaine Gouws of MEGinteriors
I hired Elaine Gouws from MEG interiors to furnish my new house. Our first meeting at my house was on 12 August 2015. Elaine is an attractive women that created a good first impression. I liked her ideas. I was very impressed when I received 3 potential floor layouts via email on 21 August. We met again on 31 August resulting in me approving her choice of furniture and carperts. On 3 September I paid the 70% deposit, R93 000, required by MEG Interiors.<br> Magda Olivier from accounts confirmed receipt of the deposit and placement of orders on 3 Sept. Despite many promises on progres and delivery dates nothing has been delivered by 24 December 2015. I became aware of other complaints on hello peter and can confirm that my experience is the same. If you want to do bussiness with Elaine know the following:<br> She is MEG Interiors.<br> She lies about her business being located in Garsfontein. She runs the bussiness from home and you can only contact her via email or cellular phone. <br> Elaine Gouws and Magda is most probably the same person.<br> She won't provide you with any documents, names, contact details and addresses of suppliers and manufacturers where your orders have been placed.<br> <br>

Another Victim of Elaine Gouws of MEG Interiors
I'm a medical specialist who needed someone to decorate my new office in a brand new, high profile hospital. I first met Elaine Gouws from MEG Interiors early January 2015 for a quote and stipulation that the office must be ready for the grand-opening of the hospital on 02 March. On acceptance of the quote of R180 000.00, I payed the entire amount upfront in good faith. She promised that my new offices would be executively furnished with upmarket products. On that date, all that was delivered was a desk and examination table. By the end of the following week, still NO wall art, WRONG visitor chairs, WRONG couches, NO floor mats, floating shelves, pot plants, floor lamp, coat stand, desk accessories, window blinds etc. She had many excuses! During the next 2 weeks, the most hideous, cheaply-made and poor quality products I have ever seen, were delivered in drips and drabs, probably just as damage control. After many emergency meetings around the end March, filled with promises and blatant lies, I asked her to kindly leave and pay me the money for all the outstanding products, around R20 000. My offices are still not open for business. Still no response from her. Zero professionalism
