Not Treating Customers Fairly

Did my eye test and made the deposit on 03 May 2026. I requested a refund from them due to the amount and I couldn’t afford it.

I was told the timeline for my refund will be 1-2 days. I called and sent emails everyday requesting for follow ups and the store informed me they are requesting feedback from Head Office. On Friday I was informed my refund is withheld because they are doing an investigation. I escalated it to the Operations Manager and she confirmed she will liaise with the person withholding my refund the next day as he was not in office.

This morning I follow up and I am informed due to her not realising today is a weekend, she thought today was Friday. Therefore, they can only assist on Monday.

I am extremely dissatisfied by the lack of urgency and the boat disrespect that they are not treating customers fairly. It is unacceptable. I cannot wait over two weeks for funds are due to me and they are intentionally dragging their feet so I can honour other financial commitments.

I don’t recommend anyone to go to Mellins i Style because of them treating customers unfairly and lack of integrity
