Pool repairs 3 years later - covered by Warranty :)
Aston and his team rejuvenated our 50k litre pool back in '21 - from algae destroyed marbalite to sparkling fibreglass.A few months ago a 14cm crack appeared which turned out be along the upper line of the pool light that was removed 3 years ago. Aston came out last week - sanded down that section , repaired crack , re fibreglassed and painted . All at no charge !!

I've been so happy with Mend a pool's service from start to finish. My pool started leaking in the middle of Dec and I got the first available company to help me. They made a terrible mess remarbleliting and it continued to leak. A friend recommended Mend a pool. Aston and Carol have been very professional, helpful and their team is extremely competent, clean and polite. They have been a pleasure to deal with and I would gladly recommend them. They replaced the hydrostatic valve , weir , relaid paving neatly and sealed pool lights. Communication is clear and honest and they were always available for questions. I wish I'd started with them .

I've been so happy with Mend a pool's service from start to finish. My pool started leaking in the middle of Dec and I got the first available company to help me. No follow up service
I recently had such a disappointing experience with Aston from Mend a pool. He started work at my house in March 2023 and took until Sep 2023 to complete the pool. It was an unnecessary long time and I was very frustrated with the slow progress. Most days he would drop off just one worker for the whole day. He quoted us to do the pool area, paving and fireplace. He then charged us extra for building another step due to the paving being higher but surely that should have been part of the quote. He also charged us for extras so the job cost way more than what he quoted us. Now 6 months after the completion of the pool the marbelite has started coming loose in one area. I messaged him today as I am very concerned about the fact that the pool is only 6 months old and the marbelite is coming loose. He was so abrupt and rude to me and told me the damage is from a pool floater and I must claim the damage from the pool floating company. I was very shocked at his reaction because he did not even have the decency to come and look and analyse the damage. He just readily blamed it on something else and did not even bother to come and see if maybe there was bad workmanship. I am still so surprised at his reaction towards me. He was defensive and accusing. I mentioned to him numerous times that the damage is on the step and the floater did not go anywhere on the step but he totally ignored that, just carried on denying that it was not his workmanship. So now I have a pool that is not even a year old and cost us a fortune to build and now I have to get someone else in to fix it. This is so wrong by all accounts that Aston does not take responsibility for this.

Best pool company ever!! One stop shop for all you new pool needs! They help you design your dream pool and do the job to perfection. From the owner Aston to office staff they communicate with you during the process and answer the phone when you call them. I highly recommend them!

Outstanding
The entire experience was great. Aston was there with first hand knowledge and experience. Although, his initial quote was higher than the other similar pool companies I contacted, I decided to go with mendapool as they always followed through, returned phone calls ,messages an emails in a timely manner, and were always available if I had a concern. Mendapool should be every prospective customers first and last call.

Awesome quality service during festive season
Great turnaround time on quotation and service. My pool was loosing water at a rapid rate, I got Mend a pool's details from Facebook Marketplace and spoke to Carol, she treated my request with urgency and sent Aston to come out that same afternoon to inspect the pool. He established that the pool surface has several leaks. Despite it being the festive season and all Mend a pool's team started working on the pool the very next day. Carol kept me informed at all times. A high five to their site staff Jack, Rob & Khoza these guys DO NOT sleep on the job. I am very satisfied with the final product. I also received a free electronic gas leak detection. Keep up the great work!

My husband and I are so happy with Mend a pool’s Services. We recently had our pool resurfaced and could not be more happy with the final product. We worked directly with the Aston, who is very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all our questions.

I cannot recommend Mend a pool highly enough. From conception to construction and completion the whole project ran smoothly, and on schedule Careful attention to detail was given and we are absolutely delighted with our pool, we can not WAIT until summer so we can start enjoying the pool. Would definitely use Mend a pool again.
