This is my 3rd complain for the bad treatment received from this dealership. Following the previous complain laid 2weeks ago regarding the bad service received, were I took my car in for minor service but when I pick up the car, its engine was switching off completely at the robots all way through out. So I had to return the car back in on the 30th of August 2023 so to sort out whatevers necessary and to replace Auxi****y battery as it was giving a signal from the day of the service. I have acquired its quote 2days in advance so to avoid misunderstandings. I booked it in on Tues 28th of Aug for 30th of Aug. When I get there The very same service provider Paul told me the cost of the auxi****y battery & its Labour was R3400.... Then I left so they can sort it out. He later called me after his assessment, and told me That the main battery of the car needs to be replaced and its cost is about R7800.... Mind you, the very same new primary battery that was replaced 2weeks ago by the very same people. You know I thought this guy must be missing something, because this car was booked for auxi****y battery and he's nolonger talking about it but instead he wanna change the main battery that 2weeks old.... We had to argue over the phone, so he promised to check again with the technician and he called again to confirm the auxi****y battery needs a replacement that I had a quote for. When I check his new quote is over R4000, way more than the quote I have from him. What I am still asking myself is that If such behavior happens to you, what else, how would I trust if this dealership is serving us properly 🤔. At some point I picked that I have been ridden for a fool, perhaps because I am a woman and african for that matter. It really annoyed me and makes me loose interest in the Mercedes brand. And the very same day when I picked the car, I hear another lady client was crying out for the very same service. And when I was there on the 28th of August 2023, another lady customer was complaining as well. Now this makes me wonder why is this happening to us as women and what does Mercedes Benz do about it. What I don't wanna see is changing the car brand all because of one service agent. Noways, I am not gonna do that at all. Instead Mercedes needs to see into this.
