Impressive Legal Expertise & Service

I paid for a consult (R899) but was told the attorney is on maternity leave
I paid for a consult (R899) but was told the attorney is on maternity leave. So the Legal Secretary was ‘consulting’. Basically she was on google to get answers to my questions. No consult was given. I could’ve googled my own questions not paid a legal secretary to do it for R899. MG are ****mers! Beware

I paid for a consult (R899) but was told the attorney is on maternity leave. So the Legal Secretary was ‘consulting’. Basically she was on google to get answers to my questions. No consult was given. I could’ve googled my own questions not paid a legal secretary to do it for R899. MG are ****mers! Beware

Very poor service. Gave them an outline of my need before consulting. They assigned someone with a background in intellectual property law when they knew in advance this was a labour law matter. I paid R995 for what should be a 60 minute consultation which ended up being 20 worthless minutes. When I cancelled their mandate they did not bat an eyelid. Not trustworthy.

Thorough & Beyond Capable.
I’m moving forward with my new life on a very positive note and also knowing that I was represented by the most professional and well-rounded attorney that anyone could ever ask for. They are extremely conscientious and smart and are excellent trial lawyers.

MG Attorneys - MOST ******* DISHONEST AND UNPROFESSIONAL FIRM
They have not paid 11 staff their salaries for Dec 2023 and owed 6 staff outstanding salaries from Nov 2023 till current. The managing partner, Michal Gunzenhauser **** about money and staff were threatened. They also deduct PAYE/UIF but fails to pay it over to SARS. This is the worst company to work for as they do not pay their staff and attorneys earn below R20k pm despite having huge amounts of experience post articles.

Unprofessionalism
I have a very bad experience with the firm as I filed for divorce in 2021 and up until now the matter hasn't been resolved even though i was promised the matter will be resolved in not more than 6months as they wont be dealing with estates.My case keeps on being moved to a new lawyer, so far the case is on the 4th lawyer and when they change a lawyer I'm not being told, I will only see by the new email with funds request and when I enquire that's when I'll be made aware of the new lawyer handling my case. I paid a lot of money already but the matter is not resolved and is not even promising.i feel they are not looking after their clients interests

A firm that cares & won't kill you with fees
MG Attorneys Inc. who used to be MG Law is truly exceptional law firm. Ethics and resolving issues at minimal cost is their focus. I can't say the service is amazing because you don't find that anymore anywhere in SA, but it's decent and you know your case gets sorted at minimal costs. Offices are really nice and central (sort of near Sandton City by the bridge to the M1). I definitely recommend their services.

I can't say the service is amazing because you don't find that anymore anywhere in SA, but it's decent and you know your case gets sorted at minimal costs. Offices are really nice and central (sort of near Sandton City by the bridge to the M1). I definitely recommend their services.
