A firm that cares & won't kill you with fees
MG Attorneys Inc. who used to be MG Law is truly exceptional law firm. Ethics and resolving issues at minimal cost is their focus. I can't say the service is amazing because you don't find that anymore anywhere in SA, but it's decent and you know your case gets sorted at minimal costs. Offices are really nice and central (sort of near Sandton City by the bridge to the M1). I definitely recommend their services.

Best prices, massive range but without the arrogance of Takealot. Perfect every time. They even missioned around for me once when a UPS stopped working. They spent so much effort replacing it. Others would not have...

The biggest Yet Best Prepaid company
They're the biggest in SA and apparently one of the biggest globally for a good reason. While I've had issues with them (you will if you have dozens of properties), they resolve it instantly. Then never run from obligation or use excuses. So it's a pleasure working with them. Not to mention they are the trailblazers who innovate and bring new products onto the market, then the rest follow. I was told that they are an extension of what was CGS (Cheque Guarantee Services) who created CGCell. So they have experience of like 30 years with prepaid things. CGS was huge and I met the founder/CEO Mark Taitz (Dr I think) who I also think is the co-founder of Ideal Prepaid. I know the founder is Mordi Kushnir who was also CEO of CGS after Taitz (I looked it up, so it's true). And I know several people who worked there before it was sold to Transunion and Blue Label for huge money. So what I'm trying to say, being tech inclined is that the software to manage this kind of business is ultra-complex. That's why I trust them as they have it from those days (not sure but at least 20 years). Who wants their tenants getting upset... So they're the best & all one should use IMO.

Top tier Pvt Acc - Zero service!
Considering I had a Signature Private acc, this is pathetic. Cannot every get my banker to call me. I mean for 2+ years! I've tried everything, but they simply couldn't care less. Can only imagine what they do with normal accounts. I left Investec thinking I'll get better service, but was that a mistake! So went back to Investec. Standard would actually rather send the account to collections than simply get the bank to call me, which I've asked 15+ times! I don't know how good or bad other banks are, but I can tell you that this one is worse, as there cannot possibly be worse service, where their top tier account cannot get ANY banker to call them for well over a year!! Imagine that. The amount of damage they have caused me is so material that I am busy consulting with attorneys to claim damages from them. Be careful!

No cars & always long waiting list
Have tried so many times to get a Merc when I replace my cars, but they never have stock. Last 5 cars like this. Useless.

Large firm, ***** practises!
I used them a while back. They promised recordings of a meeting I attended and transcripts. They later **** that they lost it. They **** about a few things which surprised me, how such a large firm would behave this way. Extremely *****! Beware.

GREAT idea, POOR execution!
First, they only allowed 3 cars in your profile. Now it's down to 2! Why limit it? Do you not wish to earn more? Then, the site is featureless. I mean ******-all there. After the finally added a wallet, so my card doesn't get charged a few rand each time, they decided to only allow that to get paid via EFT. So your daily spend can come off by card, but not if you prepay. Insane. Besides often not opening booms and other issues, they promote their app and claim it has more features. I downloaded it and it's a joke. It's a copy of the website. Can't even call it an app. Does nothing!

Mecer NEVER works! BEWARE.
Mecer is by far the worst electronics brand. I have NEVER had a single device that actually worked properly. Now I am stuck with 2 x R9000 Power Backups, weighing 65kg each (which they say I must bring in), and after being used at most 20 cycles, won't run my TV for more than 15 min. Once again *****ed by Mecer. I have vowed NEVER to buy Mecer again and to warn everyone I know about it.
