Appalled by the sloppy service received from Mi7..I received a call from the Control Room, and was informed that an armed response vehicle will be sent to my house, as the alarm went off, and nobody was at home at that time, and they'll provide feedback shortly. After 2hrs from the call from the Control Room, I called them back, to follow up and find out what was going on. I was informed that the armed response was at my house and did an inspection and found everything to be in order.l, and the reason for not calling me back, was due to their telephones not functioning properly. I don't know how it's my problem, as I'm a paying customer for their services? When we got home in the afternoon, we found the door of the outside room to be open. My question now is, was the security guards really at the premises, did they do a proper inspection, or did the Control Room just tell me a lie to make me feel at ease? I'm really disappointed, and losing faith in this business

First off, I must say that the security personnel on the ground are absolutely amazing, I have personally seen them going out of their way to help people that aren't even Mi7 customers.. Major respect to them for their incredible efforts. But then the call center and admin staff drag this review down to 2 stars (I was tempted to select 1). After trying to sign up with Mi7 myself from July 2021, and repeatedly getting absolutely zero response from anybody, my girlfriend started doing security company research for our community, and got responses to every single query within 2 days. Then I finally managed to actually sign up with Mi7 in November 2021, and the real fun began. I went through the next 2 months with a barely functioning alarm, where every time a technician had to come out, something else mysteriously "broke" and had to be replaced (at my cost, of course). 2 new alarm panels later, and I finally had a proper working alarm system. I'm not even going to start on the disgusting lack of communication that I experienced during this time, because just that topic would be an essay by itself. Last month was my first "paid" month (following the late 2021 "3 months free" promotional drive), and I without thinking I manually paid my R449 monthly fee. The very next day (4th March), I noticed that my account had been automatically debited for the exact same amount, so I had effectively double paid. I called the office immediately and spoke to the accounts department, who promptly informed me "Sorry sir, we can't reverse either of those transactions. Could I mark your next month as 'paid' so you don't get automatically debited for April?". Naturally the "can't reverse the transaction" story was suspicious, but I was busy and did not have time to take it further, so I accepted that option. Now this morning (5th April) I noticed yet another debit from Mi7, which I was told would not happen. Calling again this morning to query this, NOW I'm told "yes sir, I can reverse that for you, but I can only do that on Friday, would that be a problem?". WTAF?? How the hell do you people actually do business? I switched to Mi7 because I was having issues with National Security, and now I've had MORE problems with Mi7 in a mere 6 months than I did with National over a span of almost 3 years! I honestly cannot and will not ever recommend Mi7 National Group services to anybody.
