Policy destroys customer satisfaction

I received a hand bag for my birthday. I have always wanted a Michael Kors bag but could not afford one. I don't like the colour and contacted the Sandton City branch to exchange it. They refused saying it was over 7 days and the company policy will not allow it. How pathetic is that. I finally have a bag from a brand I have always wanted and don't like it. So much for customer satisfaction
