It's so sad to know while people are preparing for elections. We are 3 days without water. I am based at Savanna city. Just moved to our new home except it hasn't been all Rosey. Sunday morning water wa finished. Went to pick n pay to buy water voucher. Came back to load for the first time. Mind you, I only moved to the place last week. Could not load the voucher. Tried numerous times then I checked the displayed meter number on the meter remote (loading machine) it had different meter number to what we have on the meter box outside. Called municipal early hours of Monday morning. Some lady assisted and said because I get home late. Lady who assisted advised me call at 4pm to log the ticket so they can come when I come back from work. I call just before 4pm to log a ticket. Then I'm given REF0063/27/05/2024: Faulty pre-paid meter. I state I am available from 7pm. I call before 7pm spoke to Vanessa. I'm told my ticket is already logged for 7pm. I call 15 min after 7pm. I'm told turn around time is 4 to 8 hours. I already called in the morning and was told to get ticket later because if Marine Puso logged ticket in the morning. Technician was gonna come right away and I was at work. To this day, this morning. I am still without water. I am unable to load the voucher I bought. The service received is uncalled for. Had I been provided with correct metering first place all this would have been avoided. I understand human error. However I am the one who is in convinced right now.
