We recently booked a a 4night stay in Ballito with Rishen Sukdeo of MoAfrika Tours. Since we were driving from JHB, we decide to take a drive at our leisure on Mon 26th Dec with the family. I decided to make contact with Rishen that morning to conclude on the details around our check-in time and the likes. I only heard back from him when we got to Pietermaritzburg in the afternoon, about an hour away from our destination.
He explained how he could not accommodate us any longer, due to vandalism which occurred in the unit we were supposed to stay in. He was happy to refund us the full amount paid for the inconvenience caused since he could find us other accommodation. Myself and my husband had to quickly find alternative accommodation since we were already in KZN, and had to pay quite a premium since it was during peak season. We had no choice, as we were travelling with our 2 children.
To this day,I have not received my refund for the holiday I paid for, and never got to enjoy. On a daily basis there has been one excuse to another as to why my payment is not done yet.
I am disappointed at the lack of professionalism and theft that I have experienced
