I am absolutely dissatisfied and annoyed with this company, I don't know what sort of **** products they are making these days really, I bought a mobicell P11 plus on 26 December 2025 within a month this phone starts glitching and overheating and shutting down for no reason you sometimes can't even spend 10 minutes on It or don't use it for hours and it still does this! What if a emergency happens now I have to rely on a phone like this! I contacted them regarding this and the answer I got was take the phone back to store where I bought it and they will investigate which is standard procedure I understand that but to not do loan phones they told me this straight,this is the only phone I have and I use it for job applications and more I don't have a steady income so I cannot afford to just buy another phone! It just a font care attitude and I am clearly not the first person this has happened to because the responses are very cold!

Now again today I called Spectra i.e. Edgars Cell phones’ Mobicel on their underground number 0113922240 instead of the number on their business cards 0115413300 which go through to Mobicel. Speaking to their customer care advisor Thandi who advise clients Spectra is NOT LINKED TO Mobicel. When I asked her for their procurement person with Edgars she advised she doesn’t have access to that info! I asked for their manager at Spectra she too told me they have No telephone numbers for their sales people to Edgars. She the Thembi Spectra’s manager gave me the email address for Spectra sales as: accountsa4@mobicel.co.za YET THESE ARE NOT LINKED COMPANIES AS PER THANDI & PHUMLA & THEMBI! This is the height of BEE employers & employees! No brains whatsoever!

Now Mobicel is selling itself off as a German company! They’re now calling themselves Spectra! The idea of using Sandton City Edgars store to promote this was PR genius!!! The Spectra J2 Pro has an excellent 50 megapixel camera and nice size. Further than that, there’s nothing to this BEE phobe being passed as German manufactured! Before you can get anything to work on this phone you need to reboot/restart it! It definitely cannot connect to Wi-Fi network Rain SA! I want a full refund and an apology to South Africans! Just because ANC has lost the ball on Corp Governance doesn’t mean SA’s economic hub Mandela Square Sandton City must also drop its standards! I want my full refund!

Hello Peter on Sunday I went to Protea Glen Mall Pep Cell 4471 and two ladies by the name of Patricia Maluleka and Keneiloe Kabele who helped me and they were so helpful the service was great 👍 I wanna say keep it up ladies And God bless you 🙏

this mobicell F52 is a **** phone , it shuts down while you using it constantly turning on and shows message saying the device is *******ed , it overheats even when you havent used it for long just one phone call it starts overheating. what a useless phone not to mention the bad selfie picture quality . i regret .

My mother bought my son a mobicel at pep now I am not sure who is at fault pep or mobicel. The phone in question was a mobicel p11 2 weeks old now. This phone goes on and off by itself. I wrote in and asked mobicel what's happening and the way forward. The only response please return the phone to the nearest pep branch it will be booked in and inspected to see what's the fault. I know and everyone by know that mobicel isn't expensive. My question was if I wanted to buy a repaired phone I could have gone to a local cell repair shop the phone would still work better but I didn't my mom said she want to purchase him the phone out of the shop or I could have gone and bought it on the street which we didn't. I haven't taken it in as yet i can't take off for this but I return by Tuesday. Either way I don't want a phone that was opened up to be repaired and given back I don't it's not right. All that was said I should return it will take 7days or more to check and returned. Seriously I don't trust i told the agent i emailed please eve after looking at it I want a new phone that wasnt worked on it's **** you buy out the shop to have it returned goodlord then rather credit my mother's account so that they lady don't pay off they phone cause this was a mistake this phone cheap yes but to do this first 2 weeks that's just wrong don't cell nonsense to people then you want to open it up fix amd give it back like that said if I wanted a repaired cheap phone I would have purchased one.
