Please don't ever use Mokar Panelbeaters. Not only did they keep adding additional amounts to the quotations (which amounted to almost R10k over and above the original quotation) but work was not done according to Dekra standards which was the original instruction from the start - and then get it approved by Dekra. But they did not fix everything, more things were damaged, bottom plate was not even put back, mud-guards were not properly affixed, all funny lights keep coming up on dashboard which never did. We had to initially take the car back as the indicator lights were not working after the repairs. They now keep just pulling up their shoulders saying their Quality Tester employee is not with them anymore. So my question as to who does the quality test before clients collect their Vehicles, I was told nobody.

Please don't ever use Mokar Panelbeaters. Amazing customer service received when my vehicle was in to be repaired during November 2025. From the receptionist Sinah to Phillip and the rest of the staff, all were friendly and professional. Satisfied customer so far. Excellent work done on the repairing of my vehicle. Be proud of the work you do!! Thank you for your service.

Mokar panel beaters centurion I was very confident and happy when I took my car to them and at 1st they gave me great service fast forward when I had to collect my car Phillip very unprofessional. They gave me and invoice for R64000, I paid R40000 which meant I was left with a balance of R24000, they call me and tell me that my balance is R27000 instead of R24000 because the was an extra part they had to buy I asked him who authorised that because I never agreed to that and my invoice says R64000 not R67000, imagine the never of Philip telling me he will take out the part then what nonsense service is that, so he thinks it’s ok to agree on a certain amount and them change the amount just like that without any form of mutual agreement.Take your car to Mokars if you are willing to pay whatever amount they decide to charge you after you had agreed on a certain amount. Service I give them -0/10 because of Philip, when it comes to the car it self I will say it’s ok for now because I don’t know much about cars but it looks good when I see it don’t know about the inside. Very disappointing service. I will tell everyone about the service I got.

Mokar panelbeaters was so amazing and they were fast,cheap, they always give they're clients updates throughout the process and they always make the customers feel comfortable and confident and that they make sure your vehicle is and once they're done with fixing your vehicle, it's going to look, sound and drive like it's new, I definitely recommend them, thank you mokar panelbeaters for the best services.

My wife lodged a claim for accident damage on her new vehicle. Mokar panelbeaters in Lyttelton Manor was the chosen repair centre by the insurance company. The vehicle sustained minor damage on the boot and needed a rear tail light to be replaced with minor painting needed. The vehicle would probably require 6-8 business days to be repaired. I read Bonginkosi's post and thought that maybe it is an isolated incident. Well, it is not. I handed over the vehicle on 25th June 2025. Feedback has been non existent unless I follow up on progress , which there is none. If you do follow up, you will realise that the feedback is the same, we have handed the vehicle for paint prep and waiting on progress, or we are waiting for spares for the vehicle. There is some sort of excuse that they come up with to stall progress. It is now the 15th July 2025 and still have no expected date of completion to get the car back. The vehicle is a major brand and not some new Chinese kid on the block brand where parts are hard to come by. I managed to source oem spares within 1 hour of enquiring from various providers.They are seriously understaffed and have *********** personnel. Also, double or add 20 more days to the expected number of days that they suggest a vehicle would take to repair. They do not work Saturdays. Worst of all, if Natalie Joubert is your point of contact from Mokar.......good luck...you have a higher chance of winning the lotto than getting credible feedback from her. So expect a lengthy delay. For tracking purposes....basic parts assembly will take 4-5 business days, painting will take about 5 business days, paint prep will take about 4 business days....and expect to hear that parts they have ordered are defective and needs to be replaced....this process can take 4 business days or more and wait for it.....only once all parts are fitted that painting can start....which means no spares parts = your vehicle lying in the workshop neglected for days on end. In my opinion, if your insurance company recommends that you use Mokar. DO NOT USE THEM. You have been warned. This is our first and last business interaction with this company.

I am extremely unhappy with the panel beater, I took my vehicle in on the 15th of May 2025 to get my headlights that were ****** replaced. I was told the process would take just over a week, it’s been over a month, I haven’t been updated properly unless I make means to call in, every week I get told I’ll be getting my vehicle back, but there’s always a new problem afterwards. Between the panel beater and ABSA Insurance Company I’ve been waiting since 17/04/2025 JUST TO REPLACE HEADLIGHTS. I’m spending so much on transport daily while I have a car I’m paying for and I’m just defeated.
