Very unpleasant experience!
Arrived the first at and was promised that this workshop was different from the rest of the dealing we have had, proud, transparent, qualified and professional. After the first invoice was issued the problems came about, work was also done that wasn’t requested - twice.
Cars were taken in by the garage and were able to be driven around with no issue. When required to collect we were advised to have it towed as it was now not working.
If you think of dealing with them.... don’t!
Good day Matthew, the vehicles in question are from "Cobra Experience" and are AC Cobra kit cars (part BMW, part, Toyota, part generic Midas parts, etc) at the onset of being asked if we would like to service and maintain your vehicles we were informed that they are in pristine condition, the base model is valued at more than 500k and the higher end versions range to well over a million. On arrival of the first car the condition was shocking, no electrics, no hand brake, interior tatty, duct tape on bodywork, radiators falling out etc , the list is virtually endless. The second and then the final third car were in the same to similar conditions, it was at the third car that we decided that we didn't want to look after your vehicles anymore. My email to you explicitly said "the condition of your vehicles is going to directly impact Monaco's reputation". The condition of your vehicles coupled with the fact that none of our invoices (despite numerous promises) had been paid to date led us to cancel our relationship with you. The vehicle that you are referring to in your review arrived on a breakdown in a non running / driving condition. Once we repaired wet / damaged wiring and on moving the vehicle we noted that the rear differential is noisy and I recommended that you tow the vehicle away rather than driving it, I fail to see how this is our fault or issue.
We should have been alerted to your modus operandi when you had nothing good to say about ALL the previous garages you have tried, perhaps the issue is not with the garage but with you and the condition of your vehicles?? Food for thought.......
PS: If you're thinking of renting from "Cobra Experience" then rather don't, the cars are death traps!!!
