Very unpleasant experience! Arrived the first at and was promised that this workshop was different from the rest of the dealing we have had, proud, transparent, qualified and professional. After the first invoice was issued the problems came about, work was also done that wasn’t requested - twice. Cars were taken in by the garage and were able to be driven around with no issue. When required to collect we were advised to have it towed as it was now not working. If you think of dealing with them.... don’t!

I stopped to view 2nd hand cars at Concorde Cars which shares a premises with the above business and a Shell Garage. The premises is confusing and on noticing a Renault Clio, decided to view it. It was open, thus I opened the door to check the mileage. An honest mistake. The owner of Monaco Auto Spares came storming out, used aggressive language and ordered me to get my car off his premises. I was aghast as my honest perception was that the car was on sale and that the 2 businesses Concorde and Monaco, were inked as they both involve vehicles and are literally on top of one another. Mr Paul Toscana's (owner of Monaco Auto Spares) rude and aggressive behaviour was totally uncalled for.

I would like to thank Gavin, the owner of Concorde and Walleed, who works for Concorde for apologizing on behalf of Toscana and putting the situation in perspective and assisting me very kindly.

Where do I start?

Friendly, accommodating, professional, HONEST, knowledgeable, an all-round pleasant experience.

I had had my Kia for 5 years and had serviced it at a different mechanic every time the time came around for it to be serviced. It wasn't that the previous mechanics/garages were bad, it's just that they were what one expected, nothing to write home (or Peter) about. Then I found Monaco. The only garage I have ever been back to. The only garage I will ever go back to.
Thank-you guys :)

It was brought to my attention that Monaco Auto has been reported to you as being unprofessional and all sorts of bad things. This is completely untrue.. I have been a customer for a number of yeas and they are excellent, friendly and go the extra mile.-. I think you guys should check the complaints...especially when they come from an ex-partner with a personal grudge. Thanks. By the way, the owners are not personal friends -I have only ever interacted at the auto shop.
Monaco Auto services must be stopped. After I became the latest victim of their unscrupulous practises I felt it necessary to seek out. Since coming forward I have seen numerous complaints and I hope more people will come forward. As a quick recap I took in my vehicle to overhaul the engine. It took about a month with numerous excuses. Eventually I got it back after paying a huge amount I could barley afford. But there were still problems. I returned it, still not fixed. Parts they installed started failing one after the other and they refused to take responsibility. I would appreciate anyone who knows what recourse I can take to contact me. I am unemployed and can't afford legal action or to fix my vehicle any longer. Thank you.
I drove my VW Scirocco to have it repaired at Monaco Auto Services in Gardens Cape Town. After they took the engine apart they gave me a quote of R48000 which I told them that I will not be able to afford. They then said that I have to pay R3700 for labour. The engine was not put back together, my car no longer starts and now I have to get it towed from their premises. Over and above that, now that I want to pay the R3700 and get my car back, they are charging me R3591 for storage for a car they refuse to release without payment. This means I have to pay about R7291 for a car that they did not even fix. This is daylight robbery of consumers, furthermore they rely on cars being held on lien to hike up storage costs. They essentially WANT TO STEAL MY CAR!!!!!
