Hello, I would like to formally report a driver using a Moove vehicle who collected money from us claiming it was for Moove insurance excess. After receiving our payment, he failed to provide the agreed transport service. As a result, we were forced to use money we did not have to get to work, which has placed us under serious financial distress. He confirmed in writing that: The vehicle is with the insurance company Our money was used to pay the insurance excess We have proof of payment and full message records. We kindly request urgent a refund or means to get to work

Title: ALERT!!!: MOOVE (MVASA CCO 1) ********ly Withholding R7,500 Security Deposits through Proven *****. The complaint is against MOOVE (MVASA CCO 1 (PTY) LTD) for a *****ulent financial transaction related to a vehicle use agreement. Consumer *****: MOOVE has ********ly withheld my R7,500 Security Deposit since September 2025. They verbally rejected the refund based on the false claim that I missed a 20-week payment deadline. Irrefutable Evidence: My records prove the required deposit payments were completed six months before the agreement was terminated. MOOVE is using a deliberate, manufactured, and false excuse to ***** the consumer's funds. Refusal to Document: MOOVE refused to provide this *****ulent claim in writing, proving their bad faith and attempt to conceal evidence. Regulatory Action: This case has been escalated to the National Consumer Commission (NCC) for severe consumer ***** and the Competition Commission (CompCom) for restrictive business practices. This company’s business model involves the systematic theft of security deposits, backed by *****ulent accounting claims. This is a financial service dispute from A CONSUMER , not an employment matter.

Hi there I recently hired a car from moove with the last money I could raise after being unemployed for a while. I tried my best to get things started working late nights and in really dangerous areas. After 3 weeks I finally made enough to fill up my tank. The very next morning my car was deactivated. I went to the office and begged them to please give me a chance and they refused. I owed 2400 rands .I had 1000 cash and a full tank which would have earn me the balance in a day. . They refused to help me and canceled my contract immediately. They only came to fetch the car key yesterday after 2 weeks meaning the car was just standing. I lost the fuel the last money for the deposit . I'm now going to loose my place where I stay. Please don't expect any decency from these people

If I could give this compnay a negative rating, I would! If you are an Uber Driver, DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!! My father, an Uber driver, went and rented a car from this atrocious company. The terms of agreement were that he had to pay a deposit of R8,000 and R2,300 every week. The company advertises that you can rent the car later to own it after a certain time. Everything was fine for the first week or two. Then this company stopped paying my dad's earnings from his trips on the Uber platform. They made all kinds of excuses and refused to show him a breakdown of payments made and deducted. This went on for 2-3 weeks. They have essentially ****** +/- R10,000 from my dad. Who would work over 12-hour shifts to meet their target. The lack of integrity and transparency from this company is appalling, and Uber should be ashamed to partner with such ******* beings. Moove is a *****ulent company run by ******* !!! The cherry on top is that they tell you in the beginning that your deposit is refundable, but do not tell you that it is only refundable after 6 months of driving their car. So if you return their car within 6 months, they will not give your R8000 deposit back.

My wife and I called for an Uber from our home to Cape Town airport. We waited a few minutes and the driver arrived. We were quoted R202 for the trip and we selected to pay cash. The trip was uneventful and upon arrival at the airport we paid the driver R220 including an R18 tip. Upon arrival at Shaka international airport we attempted to call another Uber driver to take us to Umhlanga. The account was however blocked and we could not order a trip and were stranded. The reason reflected on the app was that the R202 had not been paid to the driver in Cape Town. All attempts to contact Uber were impossible and the only way of communicating is by way of messages Their responses to such messages are generic and meaningless. It has been simply impossible to engage with anyone in order to resolve this. Even at face value it is difficult to understand how they could accept the likelihood that their customers would take a trip from their home, remove all their luggage from the vehicle at destination and escape into the airport without paying the driver. Worse than this is that it is impossible to deal directly with anyone in order to defend these accusations of dishonesty on our part.
