I've had a policy with Mother Financial for a few years now. Never used it. Since I was planning on selling my car, I called the company in August of 2023 to let them know that I wanted to cancel the policy. Wasn't able to reach anyone. I emailed them again in January 2024 with a cancellation request, got a ticket number, and sent the info they requested - it was still not cancelled.
Got an email from them 3 weeks ago - they're renewing my policy. Emailed them again asking for the policy to be cancelled - still not cancelled. I emptied the account before they could deduct another payment and emailed them again. Yesterday I transferred money into my general account so that I can buy some diapers for my daughter - ****, all gone. They'd deducted a DOUBLE premium TWO DAYS early. So this morning I contacted the bank to reverse the debit order. I added the emails I'd sent requesting that my policy should be cancelled. I emailed the company again to ask them to cancel my policy and informed them that I will be blocking all payments going forward. This seems like the only way to keep these people from taking my money.
