This Warranty is Absolutely Useless – Don’t Waste Your Money!
This is by far the worst insurance experience I’ve ever had. The so-called “Mother Warranty” from Motorvaps / Mother Financial is a complete rip-off. I’ve been paying this policy since 2021, thinking I was protecting myself from expensive car repairs. What a joke. When I finally had a legitimate breakdown in August 2025, I submitted everything they asked for , full diagnostic report, dealership quote, photos, and all supporting documents. The total repair cost was around R14,500 for items that are clearly listed as covered in the policy (cooling system, overheating, water pump, etc.). Guess how much they paid? R1,875! That’s it. A pathetic amount that doesn’t even begin to cover anything. So basically, after years of paying for cover, I had to fix the car out of my own pocket anyway. This company gives the impression that you’re protected, but when it’s time to claim, they’ll look for every excuse to pay you almost nothing. It’s a waste of money, time, and trust. I regret ever signing up for this policy. Please, don’t fall for it. It’s one of those “too good to be true” warranties that vanishes the moment you actually need it. Avoid Mother Warranty / Motorvaps at all costs.

Wouldn't Cancel My Policy
I've had a policy with Mother Financial for a few years now. Never used it. Since I was planning on selling my car, I called the company in August of 2023 to let them know that I wanted to cancel the policy. Wasn't able to reach anyone. I emailed them again in January 2024 with a cancellation request, got a ticket number, and sent the info they requested - it was still not cancelled. Got an email from them 3 weeks ago - they're renewing my policy. Emailed them again asking for the policy to be cancelled - still not cancelled. I emptied the account before they could deduct another payment and emailed them again. Yesterday I transferred money into my general account so that I can buy some diapers for my daughter - ****, all gone. They'd deducted a DOUBLE premium TWO DAYS early. So this morning I contacted the bank to reverse the debit order. I added the emails I'd sent requesting that my policy should be cancelled. I emailed the company again to ask them to cancel my policy and informed them that I will be blocking all payments going forward. This seems like the only way to keep these people from taking my money.

Mother financial is a ******* company
Mother Financial is name they use to attract us to be ****** and we are not aware of it until you do your claim. I am very disappointed with this people, I will not refer anyone to them, they are definitely ******ies in their own way of robbing people They've been taking my money every month but I did one claim and they been taking me back and forth, I've been wasting my airtime contacting them with no assistance from them They are now telling me stories that they only pay one high price of my claim while I was not told that before but with this lie they benefit from our money. If it's possible I'd recommend this company to be closed down, they are not helping us but robbing people their money Can I get my refund rather because I can not pay for service that doesn't help me out with my car

Mother financial is a ******* company

Bad service
I phoned this lady Ashika to get approval for my car service and she kept insisting that I must upgrade my premium and she put me on hold until the phone cut after sending a hundreds of emails also am not getting any feedback from this company while they are so quick to get the money from you

Bad service
