Management ghosted me!

I had the most bizarre interaction with the management team at Motherland!

I was contacted by Melissa, Seb, Armand and Shayna; I am a baker and they wanted to "visit my shop as well as try some of my work." No problem! I arranged for Tuesday 3/6/2025 and asked which items they would like to try. They chose, and I requested billing info for their invoice. To this, Melissa requested a quote first, which was sent, after which I have received no reply! I followed up twice, and CC'd in all the people mentioned above. Still no reply! I even went as far as whatsapping Shayna, also no reply!

It takes nothing to say "no thanks" or even make a rude comment about the price. But I find ghosting to be rude and, frankly, unacceptable. Perhaps this will get a reply.

I hope my experience can help anyone thinking of working with Motherland, to make a more informed choice about the company, or at least to understand why they have not received a reply.

I had no idea their HelloPeter score would be so low, and with some more research, I found that none of their stores is rated over 4,4 stars on Google, which usually implies mediocrity. Try some of their work, but please don't pay for it!
