Losing money is not enjoyable for anyone. My mechanic took my Chevrolet Spark starter for reconditioning, costing R1900.00. However, the reconditioned starter only barely worked for two days before failing.

The company refuses to refund me and offers numerous excuses. The faulty starter is back with them "armature is burnt", and they can't provide a timeline for the repair. Meanwhile, I had to buy an aftermarket starter so that i can drive a car that functions properly and it works perfectly.

What frustrates me the most is that they try to blame their poor workmanship on the clients.
