Sold a car that is not in a suitable condition
My sister bought a second hand vehicle from this dealer for cash of which it broke down or experience technical faults. The dealer charged my sister R 23 000.00 to repair the vehicle and when I inquired about a warranty, the dealer told me the vehicle had a 1 month warranty which is against the Consumer Protection Act of 6 months warranty. Subsequent to that the dealer refunding her R7k out of the R23 000.00 and are refusing to pay the rest.

21 Sept 2017, 08:34Got a call now from angry Pieter Le Roux at Motorland East London. He is not happy with me for posting this complain on Hellopeter even though we have been back and forth on this issue, I do agree though that I type an amount of R7k instead of R9k (which is purely an error) that was refunded to my sister however it doesn't change the fact that my sister has not been refunded the full amount of R23 000.00 and Pieter has just confirmed to me that Motorland will not be paying any further amount or engage further in this matter especially now that I wrote on this page so I'm told to rather hire a lawyer if I want to pursue this matter.
