I am very disappointed with Motorland East London and the JAC bakkie they sold me. I just want to get rid of that bakkie. Stay with brands you know if you can.

I've had a terrible experience with Motorland East London. My husband and I purchased a second hand low millage basically new Mahindra XUV300 last year and we had basically no issues with the car except for the temp that stayed on 25 degrees. Then soon after a service the engine check light started coming on , immediately we took it to them and they said they sorted out the issue and the car is fine now.... fast forward a few months later the problem came back and they "sorted" the issue again and gave the car back....It was "sorted" atleast 3 times then we were told that our clutch is almost finished and will need to be replaced, mind you we never had an issue with clutch which costs R20 000 to fix. I asked the guy if there was nothing we could do to fix it instead of replacing it and he said that we could skimm it, the same day he tells my husband that we need to replace it because its beyond repair.... Then we started noticing issues with the clutch which weren't there previously. We asked if we could trade our Mahindra in for another second hand one with no issues and were told it is possible but then again later that day when I took my husband there we were told that their are only new cars available and getting a second hand one would be impossible. The light was still coming on and they said they needed to replace a harness or whatever and then while I was driving with my son on the highway the car completely shuts down. We had to get it towed back to Motorland only for it to be "fixed" with no good reason as to why it happened in the first place and no it doesn't end there we got the car back and found a leak so we contacted them and once again they told us that its leaking break fluid due to the clutch which as I said was never an issue before they worked on the car.... The lady in the service department kept telling us the problem but my husband had proof that when they tightened the cam pully or whatever they hit the master brake cylinder and that's what caused the break fluid leak in the first place. They have had our car way more than we've had it and they never fix their mistakes or the problem also they are so rude and never get back to you unless the car is "fixed" which in their terms are worse off than when they initially got it! The car itself is amazing but the service is horrible and the people are so ********. Still no call back and no car! I wonder what I am paying for? They also finish my petrol every time I get the car it's empty.

The worst possible dealership to work with, pathetic service and very deceitful. They sold me a vehicle that is full of defects and after they take your money they dont want to assist you. A pathetic dealership to do any business with.

I am just absolutely disgusted in the service from Mahindra East London Motorland Mahindra East London Motorland Mahindra East London Mahindra East London..... My radio stopped working, let me just report that it has given me problems since day one and I bought this car brand new... Every time I took the car in I asked them to check it and it was reported back that there was nothing wrong. Anyways... I've had endless problems with this car and strongly advise if you looking to buy a car DO NOT GO TO MAHINDRA EAST LONDON. My aircon still doesn't work properly after being replaced twice, the bars fitted were just a shoddy job and no pride was taken. Anyways... After my car was at Mahindra for 3 days to get the radio sorted and the engine light sorted (p.s it had just come back from a service) I was sent to 3 different places being told this person installed my radio I must go there and sort it out as it's not their problem. 1st of all I got my car financed through Mahindra and they offered the fitment of the radio. I was informed by the three different places I went to that there is not casing for the Mahindra radio and they don't understand why I was offered that service. Please also note the 3 places I was sent to drive around to did not install my radio, even though it's on Mahindra invoice that buffalo car sound and security did it, they did not luckily they kept their invoice and they had quoted on it but never actually did the job. Then we were sent to another place where by the guy told me that he didn't do the job but it was brought to him to try and fix and he was just doing a favor for a friend. I can't understand why I am sent around to fix the radio and why Mahindra doesn't even know who installed the radio and are quick to throw the blame on everyone else. Please also note that this was definitely a backyard job as I was shown how the speaker cables and radio was fitted. Anyways I eventually just paid R600 to get my radio in a proper casing and speakers and cables replaced. Mahindra has no interest in helping, I have been trying to get the dealer principal to call me since last week Friday. Anyways I don't actually want anything from them anymore and cannot wait to have my service plan finished so I never have to have anything to do with them again. Shocking service.

My sister bought a second hand vehicle from this dealer for cash of which it broke down or experience technical faults. The dealer charged my sister R 23 000.00 to repair the vehicle and when I inquired about a warranty, the dealer told me the vehicle had a 1 month warranty which is against the Consumer Protection Act of 6 months warranty. Subsequent to that the dealer refunding her R7k out of the R23 000.00 and are refusing to pay the rest.

<p>I did bought a mercedes C200 at motor land East london sales men Siviwe. On Wednesday 19 April 2017 he bring the car to me and let me sign contact at home on 8pm the evening. The same night after signing contact I wanted to take my wife for a test drive first thing I notice was the starting was a problem after the starting the engen light pops up.so I parked it in the garages for the next day . On the 20th the Thursday morning I started the car to go to work the starting problem begins again immediately the engen light was on again the a called Siviwe the salesmen at motorland to tell him the problem the he informed me that they workshop order the part. And it was a sensor . As the owner of the car I was not happy and called siviwe again and tell him that I am going to take the car to Ronnies Motors Mercedes-Benz for a full dinoistic test and wala it's not a sensor it's the timing belt, aircon,camshaft , electronicals etc so than Ronnies offer my a lift to Motorland to decuss the matter to Siviwe who was very arrogant and not helpful as a salesmen I left Siviwe than I want to Pieter who is very helpful and trustful guy and decuss the matter with him than I said to pieter that the deal must be cancelled Jesus I mean you buy a A Mercedes a very expensive car that Is giving you problems on the day you bought it I mean no man come on we are not the Cupta-s come on we don't have money men Siviwe God never sleep I just going to cancel the deal and want my Mini Cooper back on Monday Morning .</p>
