Bad service
I am shocked, confused and really ****ed off with this company. I bought a warranty for my vehicle with this company MotoTechnology (Pty) Ltd T/A MotoTech and I say who ever is considering taking cover with them "RUN" as far as you can, they will take your money and will find all the reasons not to pay a claim. My radiator bottle is leaking and it happened when I was far so I had to replace it and I did so with a 2nd had I got then come Monday I submitted a claim, they requested a quote which I did from a dealer, they come back and say they want me put back the leaking bottle, go to the dealer so they can remove the bottle, confirm it's leaking and then send them a quote that includes labor as the dealer will give guarantee to the work. So they will rather pay +/- R800 from my money to the dealer just to remove and replace a bottle than just to buy me the bottle, they are doing so just make sure the policy elapse.

For purposes of clarification and understanding, it is important we put forward all the facts involved in this instance:
- We act as the claims administrators for your policy, we are not involved in the sales of the policy in any way.
- Your policy has a clearly documented claims procedure and rules that are to be followed in the event of a claim. These include the requirement that any work required is approved prior to it being completed, and that work is carried out by workshops with full service and repair facilities. Private work on vehicles is not permitted.
- You were requested to provide a quotation for the repairs which included both parts and fitment thereof, as well as the report from the workshop confirming the fault. There may well be further issues or problems which you have not noticed on the vehicle, which if left unresolved may result in further damage to the vehicle.
- Claims are considered from the date of the event (as long as they are reported to us within the timelines as contained in your policy document), so any claims of attempting to "run out the clock" on your policy are dismissed without further comment.
- You have so far refused to comply with the claims procedure as detailed in your policy document, and instead have turned to social media complaints and have stated you wish to approach the ombudsman for further resolution.

11 Jun 2024, 12:03I have provided you with a quote from KIA motors and also indicated that you are more than welcome to request them for the labor amount that to fit the bottle and don't hide behind there might be other things that might be faulty, I know my vehicle. Just purchase the bottle from KIA and send me for fitment and stop wasting my time and trying to justify this, it's not like I pay this policy on a month to month I bought this policy
