I am writing to express my severe dissatisfaction with the service provided by Move Networx. My colleague, Ruan Groenewald, an employee at Micro Robotics, was scheduled to have his furniture picked up on 29 April 2024 for a transfer to Stellenbosch. This move was arranged to be part of a shared container.
On 29 April 2024, Move Networx contacted Ruan to reschedule the pickup to 30 April 2024. However, on 30 April 2024, we were informed that the truck had broken down and was given the option to either refund the payment or move the transfer date. Due to Ruan's need to be in Stellenbosch by 2 May 2024, we opted for a refund.
Move Networx confirmed that the refund would be processed by 11 May 2024. Despite this confirmation, we have not received the refund as of today, 22 May 2024. This delay and lack of communication have been extremely inconvenient and unprofessional.
Given this experience, I cannot recommend Move Networx for any furniture transfer services. Their unreliability and failure to meet their commitments have caused significant inconvenience and stress. It gives the impression that we have been ****med, as they have not honored their refund promise.
