Disappointing horrible unprofessional service that never even happend they lie to you and I have emails to prove it. . Date of pick changes constantly. I requested a refund only after consulting Jappie about how a refund process works since he was unable to complete the move on time he told me it will be in my account in 3 days, on the 4th day I question him he says give him 24hrs after that I receive an sms saying the money will be in my account after 3 days whenever I call receptionist rita answers says she doesn't know anything and says jappie is not available while I hear he is in the background of the call telling her to say he is not there. I requested the refund on the 14th of November. I wrote a review same as this one he emailed me to tell me I must take it down or he won't refund me I have a screenshot of that email. He spoke on the call again saying that by the end of the week the 8th of December 2023 the money will be in my account. This company is a ****. Call themselves Christians but lie and hide. he blocked my number from calling and I'm going to take legal action. I would not recommend anyone to use their services. It's now the 3rd of January 2024 and I am unable to contact them. I still have not received my money.

Never again would I use or recommend to anyone this pathetic company called moving by faith. I booked a share load for my furniture to be fetched from Durban and delivery in Cape town, once I paid half deposit which they requested they got an outsourced company to fetch my stuff and then requested full payment. They gave me an approximate delivery date and everytime my husband and I followed up beacuse we stayed at an airbnb waiting on our furniture, the lady Renita kept giving us the outsourced companys numbers to follow up with. Yet I paid and booked with Moving by faith. She kept blocking my husband and I on whatsapp and kept ignoring our messages and calls yet she gave us an approximate date. She even went as far as telling my husband it's not as if yourll paid R35000 and if you message me again I will block you on Whstsapp!! In my opinion her attitude is just as pathetic as her service. All we needed was our stuff and we received no proper feedback as to where it was. Our stuff arrived 2 weeks later and the breakages was so much. Till date I never received an apology let alone a follow up to see if my stuff has arrived. Surely something should be done with such a company like this and a poor excuse for inhumane people!!! So much for a Christian company really. Bunch of racist jokes!!

Swindlers who will extort you for extra money so you can get your belongings! STAY AWAY! GO FIND SIMILAR REVIEWS ON FACEBOOK! My goods are broken and damaged and they won't entertain any compensation because their Ts and Cs (which they force you to sign afterwards) states that they won't cover any damage unless they wrapped the goods themselves. After unloading only non-essential items, they refused to unload the essential items unless we pay them an additional R1000. They admitted that there were no extra items that I didn't declare on the inventory list but still insisted on the money. They even refused to give my dogs some food to eat. These people are noy only unprofessional but heartless swindlers. Avoid doing business with them at all costs!

PLEASE DO NOT USE MOVING BY FAITH OR EBENEZER REMOVALS! THEY ARE SWINDLERS WHO EXTORT YOU FOR EXTRA MONEY BY HOLDING YOUR GOODS FOR NO VALID REASON!! TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY MY GOODS ARE DAMAGED AS WELL BUT THEY STATE ON THEIR TERMS AND CONDITIONS (WHICH YOU HAVE TO SIGN AFTERWARDS!?!) THAT NO CLAIM WILL BE VALID UNLESS THEY PACKED THE GOODS FOR YOU!!! STAY AWAY!!! Unfortunately, we chose Moving by Faith. My mother (66) and I moved from Jhb to NW Province and paid the full amount 4 days before the move. I started worrying the night before when they told me that the second truck would only arrive at 11am (after it was promised at 8am together with the other truck). It only arrived at 13:00. While waiting at the 2nd pick-up point for the 2nd truck, the 1st team packed and repacked the truck several times. When the 1st truck had unloaded its contents at the drop-off point, they stopped. I then received an email from Japie and Rita @ Moving by Faith to say that there were extra items that were not on the list and that they would send the additional cost through shortly. When I asked what the extra items were, they immediately turned aggressive and demanded I “just pay the R 1000 extra” or they would instruct the driver to leave with my goods. I told them that I would gladly pay more if they could tell me what the extra items were, knowing full well that my list was correct. They could not answer me and demanded I just pay. When I asked the drivers what the extra items were, they admitted that there were none, but that Moving by Faith had sub-contracted them (Ebenezer Removals) to handle our move, still owed them R6700 (after only having paid them a 20% deposit) and that they were waiting for the rest of their money from Moving by Faith before unloading the 2nd truck. I told them that their arrangement had nothing to do with me and that I had paid the full quoted amount already (R15050) and were therefore fully entitled to have my goods. They then said that they received R1000 short from Japie and Rita (while they were waiting? From Capitec to FNB?) and that I was supposed to pay them the balance of R1000 or they would leave with my goods. I had to use all the money we had for the rest of the week for food (R480) by emptying my purse in front of the drivers, since the long-distance move had all but depleted our available funds. They still insisted on the balance of R520 and started driving away with the truck. We were hysterical. I told them that I had not been employed in almost 2 years and that my mom was on government pension, but they were adamant! I had to borrow the balance of R520 from a family member via EFT before they stopped and unloaded my goods. They even refused my request for 2 hands full of dog food so I could feed my 2 dogs who had been on the road the whole day and desperately needed to eat a meal in a calm environment. What kind of person denies food to the innocent? They openly extorted us for extra money, unable to provide details of their claim of extra goods not being on the inventory list. Obviously, the drivers (Sam and Justice from Ebenezer Removals) were in cahoots with Japie and Rita at Moving by Faith. I realised later that they repacked the truck at the 2nd pick-up point (after having seen what items there were at the second pick-up point) to ensure that all nonessential items were in 1 truck (pot plants, garden furniture, etc), which they unloaded at the drop-off point first, and all essential items (fridge, furniture, etc) in the other truck, which they then used to extort me with. It was clear that this was premeditated and that they had worked together before (the drivers admitted as much but stated that this was the way things were done. Ja right!). The pure blasphemy of calling your business "Moving by faith" and "Ebenezer" and then swindling extra money out of honest Christians!! How do they sleep at night? May God have mercy on their rotten souls!
