I placed an order for flowers on 15 September 2019 for our wedding on 21 March 2020. I paid in full for the order on the same day. Due to unforseen circumstances we have had to cancel our wedding and I asked for a refund of our money on 16 October 2019, one month after placing the order and 5 months before our wedding and taking delivery of the flowers. I was informed MOZZAFIATO FLOWERS IN CAPE TOWN would charge me a 30% cancellation fee, with a break-down of a cancellation policy I have never seen on their webpage or in any of the e-mails they sent me regarding my order. I off course objected to this 30% cancellation fee as it is impossible that MOZZAFIATO FLOWERS IN CAPE TOWN could have incurred any loss or damage due to our order being cancelled 5 months before our wedding. I then received from MOZZAFIATO FLOWERS IN CAPE TOWN stating they will not be refunding me any of my money in cash, they will give me a credit to use in future, I do not require a R4 000 credit with MOZZAFIATO FLOWERS IN CAPE TOWN to use in future as we are immigrating. It is extremely disappointing the MOZZAFIATO FLOWERS IN CAPE TOWN will take advantage of a deeply saddening situation of a wedding being cancelled to prey on their clients to make money for not delivering a product or a services. Do not use MOZZAFIATO FLOWERS IN CAPE TOWN for any services, they are not transparent with their customers regarding their policies and will take any opportunity to steal your money and exploit you.
