Dont ever use these useless people. They are full of lies. They promised me my stuff will be in Jhb today but coming up with excuses. Like the truck broke down. Only to find out they have shared the load with Mega movers and it has not even left CPT.

I have never encountered a **** of this nature in my life. I contacted Cheap Transport in July, and we reached a complete agreement regarding the relocation of my furniture to the Eastern Cape. We confirmed the address, and I paid 50% as per the quote. However, when it came time to move, they informed me that I needed to pay an additional R4000, which is utterly absurd. They claimed they were unaware of my address in Cala and could only deliver to Butterworth. This is simply unacceptable service, and I strongly advise everyone to avoid using their services.

****S!!!! VERY VERY VERY USELESS!!!!!. DO NOT USE THEM!!! ****S!!!! VERY VERY VERY USELESS!!!!!. DO NOT USE THEM!!! They always put you under pressure to send money and once you send money no one will take your calls. I have been dealing with a lady called Shirly and no one is taking my calls now .She started by Lying before I settled their invoice, making empty promises. I am extremely disappointed!!!

This is not a good company at all. Never ever use them they lie. On the 12th June 2025 I got a quotation from Mr Cheap Transport to move my son's furniture to Cape Town, I requested the delivery date for the 1st July because my son was starting a new job on the 1st July, Shirley Shoba confirmed "We can assist on your required date. We currently have 2 slots so make payment to secure your price and date" and I did the transfer. On the 27th I called to confirm delivery on the 1st July, Shirley tells me that the truck is going to Durban and from Durban to JHB from there to CT. The 30th June we were in Cape Town already and I called Shirley to confirm the delivered for tomorrow, When we called in the morning of the 1st to find out what time will they deliver, she said "the truck is currently in JHB as soon as it leaves we will notify you" How can the truck be in JHB when we have already moved into an empty aparment??No apology, no remorse nothing. THEY AGREED TO DELIVER the 1st July. Mind you, we moved into an empty apartment , no bed, no plates, clothes, blankets, everything. We had to sleep on the floor for the next 9 days. Everyday we call, there is no specific date when the truck will leave JHB. We slept on the floor from the 1st July till the 9th July. My son wrote a review about this company,the Manager David Naidoo called me and asked me if I'm aware that my son wrote a bad review about his company, I wanted to explain to him what had actually happened. He shouted at me and said "You should tell your son to take off that F***review or else you will never get your furniture. He used the F*** WORD. I am so disappointed especially with Shirley Shoba. She's got no customer service at all, in fact, the whole company including David, has no customer service experience at all . David should have listened to me as the customer to find out why there was a bad review, he chose to be rude. Sometimes when you call to follow up, no one will responds, the next thing you will be told that the operations department is off and no one can tell you what is going on. We only got our furniture on the 10th July. Shirley sent me an email on the 9th saying "Hi, delivery is Thursday" No apology at all. We spent so much money, we had to buy blankets, plates, glasses, coffee mugs, inflammable mattress, clothes, , my son only took work clothes for one day only. He had to repeat the same clothes the following day. We had to buys new clothes so that he can be able to go to work. we bought pots , 2 plastic chairs, I mean we had to buy everything that was in the truck. Up until today we have not received any apology or reason why they agreed to deliver on the 1st July. I hate this company and they are not as cheap as they claim to be. If one of them is off sick, nobody can assist. The only people in this company who have customers service,are drivers: Nathan and Lukas.

This was my second 5-star move from Western Cape to Durban with Mr Cheap Transport. They are meticulous from start to finish, with making and confirming booking details, keeping the customer informed of driver's progress, wrapping appliances and furniture to prevent damage, removing and re-installing doors to move bigger items more easily, perfectly packing every item into the right-sized spot in the truck, and delivering it all on time, with care. I will definitely be using them again and recommend them to everyone who needs movers. I can only imagine that the people leaving negative reviews didn't check the details thoroughly before confirming, as Shirly, Clarence and Nathan knew exactly how to handle a move! Well done guys!

This was my second 5-star move from Western Cape to Durban with Mr Cheap Transport. Do not believe any of these paid 5 star reviews. Absolutely awful. Damaged my leather couches with big rents and rips. Smashed my boxes clearly labelled fragile. Multiple crushed boxes. Could not get hold of them for days, and when I did zero apology at all. I watched the unloading crew actively drop boxes right in front of me.

Ruined my leather chairs, multiple boxes got smashed and split open. I watched them drop a box labelled fragile right in front of me during unloading. Would not respond for multiple days when I tried to ask them about it .

If there was a way to not star this company I would. No communication at all. I am living in an empty apartment no bed no couch no clothes, im sleeping on the floor as it is waiting for my stuff. If you get in contact with Shirley or Shelly and Clarence, just know you are gonna be **** to. My stuff was suppose to arrive on the 1st July but now im told it might arrive on the weekend. so I'll be sleeping on the floor and wearing the same clothes for a whole week. I wrote a bad google review, the so called owner of the company calls and asks why I wrote a bad review and even told me I would not get my stuff. Instead of asking why what happened and trying to understand he starts fighting me on the call. I really do not recommend this company at all. If they communicated with me more maybe it would be better but they leave you hanging
