I’m honestly shocked and disappointed. I ordered waffles from this place last night – something I’ve done many times before – and what I received was rock hard, borderline inedible. The waffles were so hard they actually cut my mouth. That’s not just poor quality, that’s a safety hazard.
I paid R140 for this and expected at least a basic level of care. I sent them a message to let them know what happened, thinking they’d be concerned or at least apologetic. Instead, I got a cold, generic “thank you for your feedback, we hope it doesn’t happen again.” No offer to make it right. No real apology. Just… indifference.
When I pointed out how unacceptable that response was – especially from a place I regularly support – they just stopped replying altogether.
This is hands-down the worst customer service experience I’ve had in a long time. I won’t be buying from them again, and I’d seriously caution anyone else thinking about it. If something goes wrong, don’t expect them to care.
