The problem here is MTC, our very reasonable and reliable cell network supplier which have declared quite a substantial amount of profit in the last business year. They also have a Code of Conduct which one of the points read as follows: 1.2 Objectives of the Code of Conduct 1.2.1 The primary objective of the Code of Conduct is to ensure that members of the public can use mobile services with confidence, assured that they will be provided with accurate information about all services and the pricing associated with those services. The Code aims to equip customers and consumers with a mechanism for addressing any concerns or complaints relating to services provided by Service Providers, and a framework for impartial, fair and consistent evaluation and response to any complaints made. I also had a look at their Values for a specific reason which read as follows: What we value Integrity (trust, transparency) Customer centricity Stakeholder inclusivity Innovation Ok so now that we know more or less what MTC stands for, I have a Spectra VSAT MTCSpectra-VSAT2Mbps system for 1,751.22 N$ per month of which the installation was also a few thousand dollars. This system was installed Thursday 28/04/2022 and that is where the problems started as well. Until today I have not had a proper service, which should be 2 GB download speed uncapped data continuous. I know there is a lot of people that like to complain because they have nothing to do but I have all the evidence for this statement every e-mail and lots of WhatsApp conversations since the system was installed. We also need to be reasonable I mean I also have a business which I have to deliver a service to my clients, some of my clients are Nampower, Erongo Red and Navachab Mine which are also business ty****s like MTC with have very high standards and business values, which means that my service to them must be of a high standard and anything can go wrong. With this taken into consideration I kept an open mind through out the time period since the system was installed and give MTC a change to resolve the problem since the date off installation till today which I think was a fair chance. I have send e-mails and logged tickets and begged for help while the system was off at least 1 or two weeks every month and still are, but I paid every month my full amount otherwise I will be cut off. I also never till today received for one minute 2 GB download speed which are the product that I paid for. We now also need to be reasonable if I get 1,5 GB download that must be reasonable, yes it would be for sure but I get 0,3 GB download speed that is if the system are on which definitely are not reasonable. Ok that was to give you back ground about the problem but what I need to know is am I alone or is there more people that are paying there hard earned money to MTC the corporate giant with the good values every month and do not get the service/value for there money. I already know about 4 clients which is on excactly the same system with the same problem. Please let me know if anybody is getting ****** from their hard-earned money like me.

I relocated my WiFi in August 2023. Without any notification, MTC tried to deduct the relocation fee along with the usual monthly WiFi fee in January of 2024 only. It went back as unpaid as I only had enough for the WiFi alone. Meaning that my account at the bank had been tarnished and if I want to apply for a loan or anything, I will be rejected due to said unpaid. I sent them numerous emails with no response, I tried calling with no success. Today, 29 February 2024, they deducted almost Nad 3000 which includes last month and this months WiFi plus the relocation fee. Now I am unable to pay anything else and will have even more unpaids. All thanks to MTC employees who firstly failed to notify me and secondly couldn't be bothered to respond to my emails requesting urgent assistance.

Absolutely poor service provider. Makes us pay for a service they don't provide. Supposedly 4G speed, but only working 30% of the time. No compensation for slow speed or downtime. IF you get a response from customer care, they only say: Sorry for the inconvenience... Mostly power failures and "upgrades". Crazy frustrating!!!

I have previously posted a review regarding data theft. I have to admit that MTC call centre was very helpful and friendly and despite many people claiming their data is going missing it looks like this time it was a virus on my P.C that made the data disappear and MTC was not at fault. My apologies MTC.

I have subscribed to the 2 year netman package (WI FI). You get 20 GB free per month . On the 28th of every month it goes onto the nest month with your 20GB. Some times the data just disappear. This time I was not at home (living on the farm) no one around and the whole 20GB according to MTC was used on downloading movies or something similar but no one was at home. MTC is corrupt randomly stealing data from customers on contract. All my friends with the same package have similar experiences.

I have subscribed to the 2 year netman package (WI FI). You get 20 GB free per month . On the 28th of every month it goes onto the nest month with your 20GB. Some times the data just disappear. This time I was not at home (living on the farm) no one around and the whole 20GB according to MTC was used on downloading movies or something similar but no one was at home. MTC is corrupt randomly stealing data from customers on contract. All my friends with the same package have similar experiences.

I have been struggling with the MTC internet service since I've signed my contract on the 13th of July 2015. When I was using the toggle , which is a pay as you go. I had brilliant speed on my internet. Since I am using the uncapped contract, I hardly had any internet. I cannot even open a website most of the time. I have been calling for help and all the agents can do is to tell me to reset the router, restart the router, check your connections. I am at the point that I want my contract to be cancelled and I want to be reimbursed the money i have already paid, because of the lack of internet service. I feel that I was holding my end of the contract by paying my bill every month, but MTC are breaching the contract by not giving ME the internet service. My last complaint ticket no:1-13397990996 were on the 28/10/2015. Until now no data agent has called me back to try helping me solving the problem. This is very sad for such a big company who pride themselves, by saying that they are the fastest internet ever...I want to cancel this sad contract with no repercussion on me...
