I am extremely disappointed with the service from MyRoof and Standard Bank EasySell. The process of paying rates, taxes, and obtaining the municipal clearance certificate on behalf of the seller has now dragged on for more than three weeks, with no progress.
Despite my repeated follow-ups, including writing to HelloPeter, there has been no meaningful response. It seems this is a pattern of how they treat their customers—almost as if we are being forced to sell or accept delays, rather than being supported through the process.
Buying your first home should be an exciting experience, but instead, these unnecessary delays have turned it into a frustrating and discouraging journey. Unfortunately, MyRoof and EasySell have proven to be unreliable and not an institution I would recommend working with.
