My Spar had a one day special on the 31st of May, I sent my son to buy he Jacob's special but he made a mistake and took 1 instead of 2, it was a Jacob's coffee 1xR199 and 2x250. I tried to rectify the issue the following day by sending him back, the lady my son spoke to refused to to give him the 2nd coffee nor let him speak to a manager then when he asked for the head office's number she also refused.
So I wrote them on Facebook they only asked for my details then ignored me, then I emailed instead of the head office assisting me they gave my number to the store's manager Harold who flatly refused to let me pay R50 and get 2nd coffee saying they cannot be sure if the cashier told my son to get a 2nd coffee. Also if I contact Head Office they will also refuse to help. I advised him had the cashier told him to get a 2nd coffee he would have coz I had sent him to buy it in the 1st place.
Now I understand my son was in the wrong but I was pleading with My Spar to assist in these hard times as saving goes a long way. Harold spoke to me in a very degrading manner plain rude it was his or no way didn't care.
I really hope My Spar can look for better leaders.
