STAY AWAY FROM 151 ADRIAN STREET LINMEYER!

Rented out this place at the beginning of 1st February 2025 and upon our arrival we discovered that there was a permanent caretaker which was not mentioned to us by NatRent, his name is Dumisane (Zimbabwen). We had challenges with the place such as sharing the property not only with Dumisani but with the owner's furniture and other assets. Unfortunately, the house did not fully belong to us because the caretaker had keys and he would access the property anytime, anyday! He would go as far as opening the taps to water the garden without asking for permission. The water bill was never anything below R5000.00 because it had to accommodate the caretaker who uses water whenever he desires + it was never mentioned to us that there are two fish-ponds that are running 24/7 daily with water and electricity.

We asked the agent (***en Oswin) a rough estimate of the monthly electricity bill in that house and he said it could be around R3000 - R3500 but to our surprise the bill started at R10K going up to R25000 just for electricity only and part of the cause of this was the two fishponds running on electricity, also the owner's fridge that was plugged inside the garage. When signing the contract, I only knew of rent, water and electricity however there were other utilities added to my account such fibre, security and refuse. Initially the rent was R16950 but I found myself paying +-R39950 inclusive of everything.

Lastly, BE WARNED! When you do not see eye to eye with the caretaker he will pour leg poison for you (African Voodoo) he will give you elephantiasis - huge leg. Before we moved in, upon viewing the place, we found one of the former tenants with one huge leg. Unfortunately the same fate befall us! The caretaker started pouring leg poison for us and unfortunately we had to run from that place without even giving notice because it felt like we were at the point of death from the poison. But not only that, the house is HAUNTED! . . . At night you will hear people speaking (voices) inside and outside of the house yet you will see no one in the yard. All in all, the caretaker is a WIZARD. That house is a no go area. At this point I am asking myself?! Is the former tenant alive or dead? . . .
