Nella Pre-owned - They sold an Engine faulty car

I bought a Ford Fiesta 2016 Ecoboost (Auto) 9 nine months into driving the car and finally taking it for a service the dealer found out that the engine is basically dead. Some plates in the engine have not been working, instead of the car working on 3 cylinders and only 2 are working.

I called the dealership so that they can explain to me because clearly they sold a faulty car, I spoke to two white ladies and I cannot remember their names, what the owner (lady) basically said was " it is a used car so what did you expect ? go and claim with your warranty

I have no received any form of help from them and they refuse to admit that they sold a faulty car, I bought the car in November 2019 and July 2020 the engine died ? how ??
